  1. If they do that, they'd better tell the Giants, "At no point does this go public while we're negotiating or we deny the whole thing." This franchise and its fragile fan base would be in therapy for years over another public slap to the face.
  2. At this point, I'd like to see Pittsburgh be unable to trade him and then AB takes his ball and goes home to retirement.
  3. If true, it's odd that they didn't discuss with Pittsburgh before getting hot and heavy into negotiations whether or not he'd be willing to come to Buffalo. That is literally a deal breaker.
  4. At this point, Rapoport has to be hoping and praying that he is right. He's definitely going the 'live by the sword, die by the sword' route on this one.
  5. Not a HOFer but a very good player and a great topical example would be the trade of WR Frank Lewis from Pittsburgh to Buffalo in 1978 at the age of 31. The Bills would win their first AFC East division title two years later...their first since 1966. History repeating? Eerily similar circumstances...
  6. No argument there. I just think that they will ink one or two OL regardless of whether or not AB is on the team. Getting linemen to Buffalo is a much easier sell than it is for skill position players.
  7. FWIW, whether he is or whether he isn't, NFL Network is still scrolling it at the bottom of the screen as 'Breaking News'. Non-stop...even during commercial breaks.
  8. Not, exactly. They said there was speculation around the league that Pittsburgh couldn't get more than a 3rd for AB but the compensation is still unknown.
  9. The more important question...is he buddies with Jadeveon Clowney and can he set up a 'meet & greet' with JC and Bills brass at Applebee's?
