  1. The short answer: Yes you can trade a pick for a player while the draft is going on.
  2. When I first started reading your post I thought you were going to say that it would be nice to see the cowboys at the bottom of the stadium rubble pile...
  3. and let's not forget the type of offense he was playing in
  4. I was thinking the same thing. I could see going to Day 1 or 2 of this draft...but to actually fly down JUST to watch rounds 4-7 live is pretty insane...haha. You must be even more hardcore about the draft than I am.
  5. hahaha....wow. That music video is hilarious. Gotta love the dance moves...oh and don't forget the random dude jumping into the fence at 2:07
  6. For some reason when I think of scatback I think of Dexter McCluster. I'm not quite sure when he'd be available or if this is someone Chan is considering. Plus I just read "Mississippi receiver Dexter McCluster" here. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post/_/id/...s-and-notes-112 So I don't know if he's changing positions or what. Just thought I'd bring him up as a possible guy he has in mind. EDIT: As a sidenote, Dexter put up 282 rushing yards against Tennessee this past season and their DT Dan Williams
  7. Haha...you have. I thought the same thing. I'm 99% positive it's come from at least 2 different people too
  8. Yeah okay bud. We'll see how that one works out for you
  9. I don't understand why you're saying they only went 5-11. They won 6 games.
  10. lol....the c!@#sucker quote should've given it away...haha "Welker had not made a single friend at Massachusetts General. Although the wideout's attitude has been celebrated by sportswriters and fans alike as scrappy and overachieving, hospital personnel have described him as "exhausting," "intolerable," and "the most infuriating little !@#$sucker ever to walk God's green earth."
  11. Easily replaced? By who? He was our leading receiver last year. Everybody had down years and didn't do much because our o-line and QB situation was so unsettled, but out of all the receivers who had a down year, his was the best. I wasn't always happy with his lack of effort on certain occasions, but he definitely had an impact, and I would've been fine having him back for one more year. I don't think he's as easily replaceable as you might think/
  12. I know you're talking about 2 different guys...I just thought it was funny.
  13. Just graduated from Syracuse in May. Saw plenty of Paulus last season. This is not a guy you want to be your starting QB. I do think that he could POSSIBLY be a backup in the league after he spends more time preparing to play football (ie: bulking up, working on footwork, decision making, etc.). He's pretty small and thin, and would get pounded in the NFL. In terms of the Bills, please God no to Paulus.
  14. He's talking about the Sabres...since he quoted you talking about the Sabres....in a Bills forum nonetheless.
  15. LOL...I like the comparison. I definitely have some concerns about his potential durability, so I'd pass on him too.
  16. Agreed on all accounts. That was absolutely terrible. I thought maybe I was being too critical
  17. So signing 2 defensive tackles and letting 3 defensive ends go does what for us? Who's going to play DE? Also, with the number of people you want to "dump," who exactly out there is better that's going to fill up all those empty positions?
  18. I think you're referring to a Round-Robin tournament.
  19. I really want to see what Brohm can do. I agree that the Bills might have something up their sleeve in terms of they expect he will compete for a starting job next year. I don't see Edwards on this team next year. The Bills (under the current leadership) probably wouldn't draft a QB in next year's draft after aquiring Brohm, but who knows what will happen with a new coach/gm/front office. Gotta love your consistency with promoting Texas Tech...haha
  20. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=4848
  21. Without looking at the stats, you're both probably right. Jay Rubeo was talking about how many points the teams have GIVEN UP in the 4th, and stuckincincy was saying how many points the two teams have SCORED themselves. It's all good though
  22. So scratch Gruden, Cowher, and Marty. The rejections are piling up quickly
  23. haha...so not to be a jerk, but you guys DO realize that mob16151 was talking about the Saint's coach, Sean PAYTON...not PEYTON Manning...
  24. http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/playbyplay?g...30&period=2 It's the play by play. The Bills used all 3 like I thought.
