  1. Quarterbacks like this don't come on the market very often, and when one does, you grab him. Smith gives the Chiefs a chance. To illustrate the point, I have put all 32 starting quarterbacks into four categories: Franchise Guys (12) Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Joe Flacco, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick, Robert Griffin III, Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan Guys You Know You Can Win With (7) Jay Cutler, Cam Newton, Philip Rivers, Matthew Stafford, Tony Romo, Matt Schaub, Alex Smith Mystery Guys (6) Ryan Tannehill, Sam Bradford, Josh Freeman, Andy Dalton, Mike Vick, Christian Ponder Guys (7) The Buffalo guy, the Arizona guy, the Raiders' guy, the Browns' guy, the Jets' guy(s), the Titans' guy, the Jags' guy Read More: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20130227/alex-smith-trade-kansas-city-chiefs-san-francisco-49ers/#ixzz2MAYBCreP
  2. i'd say brad smith and arthur moats should start worrying next......
  3. finally......now you know they are seriously cleaning house......
  4. i'd still pass......besides being a total phony (fake girlfriend, continued the charade even after he knew it was a hoax, fake 40 speed 4.5 claimed/4.8 actual , fake weight 255 listed/ 241 actual, excuse making for poor combine showing "exhausting process", claims a stinger in his shoulder prevents him from lifting 225, still was evasive at combine in answering all the hoax questions, starting to deal with questions about his sexuality, his teamies at notre dame suspected he was full of chit) he underwhelmed to disappeared on the field in the championship game. i don't even see him as an upgrade over sheppard. this guy will be the second biggest distraction in the league (excepting only tebow).
  5. sandcastle running backwards almost beats rich eisen.... http://richeisen.nfl.com/2013/02/26/rich-eisens-40-yard-dash-gets-analyzed/?module=HP11_content_stream
  6. still predict he falls out of 1st round.....
  7. guys a freak.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1M9aSWirOQ
  8. he's got an imaginary stopwatch somewhere too.......says he ran a 4.5.......what a phony.
  9. i'd say they are informing him of his switch to safety....
  10. Milliner put up the fastest time of the morning so far by a defensive back, running a scorching 4.31-second 40 on his first attempt. His second was a 4.37, validating the first one. HE WON'T MAKE IT TO #8...... http://profootballta...ns-runs-a-4-31/
  11. exactly......
  12. His time was 20th of the 26 linebackers who ran at the combine Monday.
  13. Luke Kuechly ran 4.58
  14. custom truck "big black" http://sports.yahoo.com/video/sportsmin-nick-barnetts-ridiculous-ride-050000235.html
  15. what a coup for S.F. if they get KC's 2nd round pick(34th overall)......they clear out almost $8 mil in cap space and get a very high "talent/salary" value pick.
  16. i think milliner is a real possibility...... pettine's attack style defense is predicated on two very good corners.
  17. get er done....
  18. i agree !!! byrd is very over rated.....he cant cover a WR, he can't cover a TE, he gets faked out by RB's all the time, does not have closing speed. all he does is basket hang and ball hawk, resulting in a whopping 5 int's......is a mediocre, but improving tackler....still a nice player, but very over rated. he could be easily replaced by a cornerback without a drop off in talent or production. levitre is a stud.....does absolutely everything well, can power block, runs well and can get out in open on screens, is durable (hasn't missed a game) can play LT .....is our very best O-lineman......if you think any ol guard can replace his level of play......you and i are watching a different game.
  19. our record will be worse than last year....i'd say 4-12
  20. well.....if your sticking with Fitzpatrick.......then Welker is EXACTLY the kind of receiver you need.
  21. Alabama's RB Eddie Lacy is a beast.....and will still be there when ST Louis picks at 16 and probably still on the board at 22. don't see them moving up to #8..........unless they have a different player in mind.
  22. look at the bright side...... with Fitz, T Jax and a 2nd round rookie all fighting it out...... we will draft in the Top 5 next year.....
  23. i agree, the system works for 99.9% of the players......therefore it is unlikely to change...... but Clowney still controls his "choice" of whether or not he risks serious injury..... in all fairness, he could still get injured if he sits out and just prepares at a sports training complex. but at least no one is diving at his knees. Clowney is a different case study than the other 99.9%, because no matter what he does this year, he can't improve his draft stock.....he can only hurt it. if healthy he goes Top 3. again, there is no insurance for "loss of value" (serious injury, but eventually you recover, like his teamie Lattimore or willis mcgahee)...the insurance is only for $5 million if you can NEVER play again...and alot of that will be used up with uncovered medical bills. his rookie deal will be around 4years/ $20 million FULLY GUARANTEED......set for life if invested wisely. it's a no brainer.....sit out.
