  1. Are you sure about that? Is he going to come all the way back from his injury? His production has been declining since it peaked in 2006 and he will be 32 next season. I don't think that the Bills should rely on him coming back and single handedly rescuing one of the two or three worst pass rushes in the league.
  2. I agree with this. I see a one year deal for Crowell so that he can show he's in good health and thus get the most as a FA. If the Bills can resign Crowell, Ellison and DiGiorgio, then I'd take that and spend the FA $$ elsewhere, like DE and TE.
  3. I got one... Derrick Dockery. I'm not sure what we can get for him, but I'm sure that we can find someone better for what he is paid or at least someone just as good for much cheaper.
  4. Amen. Once you get past the coach, you can put DE, TE and LB all before center... and probably S too.
  5. You don't get better by trading your few good players. Peters will only hold out if the Bill's don't sign him to a deal. Let's sign him to an extension and get him working again. Or are you hoping that the Bills will strike gold with a new first round draft pick? Based on their record...
  6. He hasn't shown the skills to be a pro QB. Good arm but low release and limited accuracy. There are lot's guys like that. Someone will draft him in a late round just based on athletic ability, but he would be a project player at another position like TE and the Bills need immediate help there. The Bills need linemen not a QB. I know that's been the case for like 10 years, but they've got to keep trying. Let's use half our picks on linemen. We've got to get a couple of them right.
  7. I'm not sure what to make of Kyle Williams. I though that he played pretty well last season and I expected a breakout season this year playing next to Stroud, but it just didn't happen. Maybe he's better suited to playing over the nose? How about flipping Stroud and Williams? Didn't Stroud play the 3-technique in Jacksonville with Henderson playing over the nose?
  8. It just shows you that he has no respect for the game or the integrity of the players on other teams that play it. Listen to Bill Belichick talk about the Bills and this game. You'd actually think that the Bills had a good chance, and that's not just so that his team doesn't underestimate the Bills. The Patriots are full of veterans who wouldn't do that anyway. It's because he respects the game.
  9. This says it all. The Bills were looking for a Bob Sanders or Troy Polamalu type player with such a high pick and just haven't gotten it. It should speak volumes that the Bills have moved Whitner to free safety and are now playing Bryan Scott at strong to try and get some of the run support that they need from that position in this defense. That being said, Whitner is still a decent free safety starter so it makes no sense to move him unless someone offers a great package (which I doubt).
