  1. Edwards just doesnt have the arm or ability to analyze a situation quickly. I hate when people say Trent can throw the deep ball because he had some long completions. When you think about his long completions they are all the exact same throw, a 3 step toss up the sideline. These kinds of throws do not constitute a strong arm in my book. He can't throw a post, he can't throw a deep out, the only throw he can make beyond 15-20 yards is a 35-45 yard toss up the sidelines. grant it it may take some ability to make a throw like that, but in reality most high school quarterbacks can take a snap, take 3 steps back, and throw it as far as they can up the sideline. Those throws do not show arm strength at all IMO.
  2. sahlens is by far the best hot dog around. from louies or teds
  3. Parrish's return style is not suited to Kickoff Return. Many punt returners use their agility and quickness to go east to west when attempting to make people miss. That approach doesnt work for kickoff return, where it is more about picking your spot and hitting it as fast as possible before the coverage team can close on the lane you chose. he should stick to punt return because that style is never going to work on kickoff.
  4. great post. for the past week i have felt like we should be competitive in this game but i havent really thought about why until i read this post. we got this in the bag GO BILLS
  5. I'm 23 and grew up in Buffalo. My parents went to the oilers/bills playoff game and i sat home listening to it on the radio. i vividly remember listening to van miller on the radio going crazy as the bills scored touchdown after touchdown to come back and win. after that my parents got season tickets and have had them since, and the rest is history.
  6. the fact of the matter is Freddie Jackson is almost 29, and Marshawn is 23. for people to say we should get rid of marshawn is ridiculous.
  7. A good way to show some love is by writing on donte whitners facebook wall n ask donte to relay the msg to leodis. That and twitter. Losing is bad enough, but to make our players uncomfortable living in our city is even worse
  8. We had some decent pressure without much blitzing. whats even better is the fact that our defensive play calling will probably be more exotic and involve more blitzing against the other teams we face this year (minus the saints) because we dont have to account for a 3 and 4-wide spread with a slot receive like welker. it looked like our defense was pretty much in nickel all night with a basic cover 2 (2 deep safetys with the corners and lbs each playing a shallow zone), thats why they found so many holes in the space between the lbs/corners and the safeties. hopefully we can man up better going forward and add some more pressure and force some turnovers
  9. Its so incredibly unbelievable that its completely believable. I was watching with a bunch of non bills fans n they all were congratulating me with 5 min to go n I told em a bills game isn't over till the clock reads zero. Now I gotta go into work n here sll these people that I never really liked in the first place make stupid f**kin comments
  10. Is it weird/sad/crazy that i get choked up watching those?
  11. What do you expect a broadcaster to say about the defending super bowl champs? i live in pittsburgh, and as much as i hate the steelers (and their fans even more), my reason for hating the team is pure jealousy. they do everything right. they are rarely, if ever, out of a game, and always have a chance to win. for instance, when hines fumbled on the 3 last night, no one in the bar even cared because they know the steelers would find a way to win. i've complained for years that the steelers have a horseshoe up their a$$es and that they always get a big break when they need it, but the reality is they are just a very good team that knows how to win. With that being said, F**K the steelers GO BILLS
  12. i think you're right, i think this is asking for the "fan's" ranking of the teams in the NFL, compared to what the experts think. there is no way in hell we are in the 20's, nor is there any way in hell that an expert would pick the cheifs fan base as dead last in the league
  13. the link on bb.com that says "watch live" isnt going anything for me. anyone else have success with that? did the press conference even start yet?
  14. i blame no one but our Defense's 2nd half collapse for that game
  15. AUTHENTIC. These are supposed to be the same thing worn by the players on the field. They have tapered sleeves that lead into spandex/elastic cuffs. They size them 48, 50, 52, 54, etc. They run big because they are built for use with football pads. These run $249.99 and up Thats the definition of the authentic reebok jersey
  16. The authentics are made to fit over pads. thats why the sides of them have a 3 inch band of elastic and the sleeves have elastic too. i tried on my size 48 marshawn over some shoulder pads and it fits exactly how it should. even my jersey in college ball was a 48.
  17. Buster B snappin a duece is still goin strong
  18. The jerseys are made to fit over pads, so they will always be bigger than a normal shirt you would buy. also, i havent seen a size 46 anywhere, so unless you can find one 48 is your best bet. Or buy an XL kids jersey
  19. Derek Fine just got BLOWN UP at the end of that run by freddie jackson
  20. check downs make me wanna end my life. marshawn tossed that corner tho
  21. anybody use twitter? if so, hop on there and tell Rich eisen this is a load of sh*t
  22. the game is over and they're showing instant replays and sh*t, i don't give a rats a$$ about Mike smith's reaction to the field goal PUT THE GAME ON
