  1. I love all this talk of "becoming emotionally disconnected" and not caring anymore and giving up on the team. The losing is part of being a fan. Sports is entertainment. Win or lose, we are still reading these threads and adding our own comments are we not? we still follow the Bills and know about the changes that take place dont we? If you dont care anymore than dont even visit this site or any other Bills-related site. But you wont do that. The Bills give us something to be both excited and upset about, but at least it gives us SOMETHING. i personally would much rather go through the emotional ups and downs of excitement and failure than have nothing to be emotional about at all. GO BILLS
  2. hahaha this thread couldnt be more off topic and ridiculous. which is why TBD is my homepage
  3. I'm guessing we are flying to see these candidates because they are currently preparing for the playoffs and dont have the time/ability to just take off to Buffalo for an entire day or two
  4. just donated also. what do you have to lose, if it goes up good, if it doesnt it goes to Hunters Hope. Win Win in my mind GO BILLS
  5. I'm an SI guy personally. you get alot of good articles from alot of knowledge writers, theres no "SI insider" trash like ESPN, and it has a solid layout. i go to NFL.com for their video section which is on point
  6. Agreed. i'm holding off on jumping aboard the jairus byrd bandwagon yet. of course i think he is a great rookie and has a good knack for the football, he has only had about two solid non-tipped interceptions. its great that he is always around the ball, but if some of those balls didnt go through or off of receivers hands/werent tipped by another player on our D they would end up being completions. i think he does a good job of not being baited out of position and seems to maintain his responsibilities well as the centerfielder. i personally would like to see him CREATE a few more turnovers instead of benefitting from tips and bad passes.
  7. the defense seems to be a much more close knit and passionate group than the offense. i also like the intensity drayton florence brings. he's animated and shows alot of passion, whether its yelling at a teammate who was out of position or congratulating someone for a good play.
  8. This is the title of an ESPN insider article today, anybody have insider that can take a look and tell us what it says? i think we all know that the bills are making a ton of changes this offseason, but i'd like to see what this article is addressing specifically.
  9. +1 Chad is the man, he plays the GAME the way its supposed to be played. it is a GAME, he never takes the league or himself too seriously. he is an entertainer in the greatest entertainment league in the world. he also does some pretty cool stuff for fans. he takes Cinci fans out to the movies, he buy tickets for fans to go to games, he even took two steelers fans on a shopping spree when they played in pittsburgh earlier this year. he appreciates the opportunity to play and make money and he shares it with the fans in many ways, what more do you want from a player.
  10. I trust the Bills trading down and making solid picks about as much as i trust michael jackson in a day care
  11. i was riding high after sunday's win against miami, clinging to the mathematical possibility of a playoff push. it suck a$$ knowing that there is absolutely no hope left in the season now. On another note, did anyone see the poll in Sports Illustrated the other week where they asked NFL players what team they would least like to play for? we came in second, right behind our good friends from California. The players we have aren't any good, they players we don't have don't want to play for us, this is going to be a long few weeks.
  12. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/p...b1-d2164cd2b1a4 take a look at pic 51 if you get a chance. I have never seen a picture like that from the Bills sideline. Both of these guys bring more enthusiasm and passion for the game than we've had in a long time. its a shame both of them will most likely be gone next year.
  13. i cried like a 6 year old girl after that....which was after 10 minutes of staring at the tv in disbelief
  14. its incredibly frustrating to have a player as passionate and talented and entertaining as TO on our team and have our piss poor offense completely eliminate all of those qualities. i feel bad for the talented players we have had over the last decade that have wasted their prime years playing for nothing but a paycheck.
  15. its def get a lot by jeezy, i can picture him bobbin around listenin to it before the kick
  16. he may not have had good numbers but he did a few things that edwards hasn't/can't do: He made a throw to lee on a comeback to the sidelines. He threw the slant He has some solid pocket awareness and was able to move around a bit while still keeping his eyes downfield Granted it was a poor performance overall, i think he showed confidence in not only himself but his teammates.
  17. exactly my thoughts. we're such a dysfunctional, unemotional, passion-less team that even TO has lost interest
  18. Lee is CLEARY the victim of an awful situation. Watching our offense is the most frustrating thing in the world. It looks absolutely NOTHING like a pro, NFL offense. And i'm not just saying this because of the last few weeks, its like this in every single game we play. even when we score 30 points i have an uneasy feeling about it because of the way we get down the field. When our screens and passes to tight ends are effective (ex. New England game), we all praise the offense for a great game plan and for playing to the defenses weaknesses. but that isn't a game plan, its the ONLY WAY we are able to move the ball. Tell me the last time you saw a 12-15 yard out or curl? tell me the last time you saw a post? tell me the last time you saw a long ball that wasnt pre-determined at the line of scrimmage, where trent just takes 3 steps and chucks it up the sidelines? never because it just isnt possible with this offense. I dont know who to blame anymore. i want trent to succeed badly but i just dont think he has it, and part of the reason he doesnt have it is the coaching and the conservative approach. But IMO it hasnt NOTHING to do with our receivers. Josh Reed is our leading receiver because he isnt on the outside where the tough throws need to be made. Lee has great hands and great speed, two of the least coachable attributes of a good receiver. its a crying shame we couldnt develop that or give him the opportunity to play to his potential

  20. Edwards just doesnt have the arm to make the throws. I hate when people say Trent can throw the deep ball because he had some long completions. When you think about his long completions they are all the exact same throw, a 3 step toss up the sideline. These kinds of throws do not constitute a strong arm in my book. He can't throw a post, he can't throw a deep out, the only throw he can make beyond 15-20 yards is a 35-45 yard toss up the sidelines. grant it it may take some ability to make a throw like that, but in reality most high school quarterbacks can take a snap, take 3 steps back, and throw it as far as they can up the sideline. Those throws do not show arm strength at all IMO.
