  1. Although I am no longer inspired to think we're on the rise, I am going to withold judgement until I see the KC game.

If we do not respond from the embarassment of the Jets game with a well-planned, well-prepared, well-coached, well-executed effort (win or lose), at home in Sept with the ever-faithful fans rocking the house....

then we may be in for another looooooong season.....followed be regime change. I pray we bring it hard at home.

  2. Breaking News: Buffalo Bills and the rest of the NFL have announced they are scrapping training camp. Furthermore, they have elected to forego the upcoming season all together and just go ahead and award the Buffalo Bills this years Super Bowl trophy given they were the undisputed champions of the offseason. Talks began about this when the commissioner began to tire of the ridiculous boasts about dynasties, SB guarantee newspaper ads, constant arrests, the leagues inability to call a cab, naked TE's, and most importantly Tebow and the Jets. Seeing the nauseating non sense enraged the comish to put them in place because he knows the SB trophy was all but certain for the Bills this year and decided that it was best to no longer endure the non sense around the NFL and hand it over now.

    Go Bills :)

    cool story bro

  3. Sorry i just dont understand why everyone is concerned with Fitz getting hurt. He has missed one game in two years behind our makeshift offensive line and he dressed for that game. I just dont get it. And EVERYONE on this board wanted us to trade for Thigpen when we hired Gailey, after a few preseason games and 7 passing attempts he suddenly unworthy to hold the clipboard?

Sorry but his "sore ribs" played a huge part of a 7 game skid as did our backup sucking complete ass. Good for him fopr dressing - our team suffered. Had we had a quality backup...could have been a much different story.

Thigpen wasn't good enough for Chan to put in place of our #1 - who was at 50-75%....that's a problem.

  4. With a Fitz type QB as #1 (Jury still out...Could be great - could suck and not be a Bill next year), IMHO we should have more of a 1A as a backup (former starter - can start elsewhere - can compete for the top spot) instead of a distant 2 (no chance of starting anywhere - total drop off in quality). If a late-season playoff run depended on it, and either injury or bad play affect the #1 QB spot....we don't make the playoffs with a distant #2 but a 1A most likely gets us there.

As we put the pieces of the puzzle together, we still have a need for need our "Frank Reich".

  5. Think he might have meant one-time top draft prospects who went undrafted

Leaf and Russell would fall into the related, but different category of "one-time top first round draft picks who flamed out"

    Yes, correct....

Leaf is probably the biggest draft BUST of all time.

Burfict could be the biggest pre-draft swoon of all time.

  6. Perhaps I havent watched enough Giants games. But to me he looks too inconsistent to spend anything more than a 4 th at best.

Also, does anyone know why the Giants are attempting to get rid of him? Too many options or agreement with my opinion? I am.not asking a smart a$$ question. Truly want to know

They are attempting to keep him (or have attempted). He went through a diva style holdout last summer before coming back and getting injured. He appears to be ready to do it again and they dont want the negativity. They love his on field production (I live in NYC and see all the games - when his game is on, he wreaks havoc) but have a threshold for diva stuff/holdouts and demands for money.

They would structure something reasonable to keep him in blue and on a contender. He has two rings and wants a big last hurrah payday. GMen have too many other ppl to pay next year - JPP/Cruz.

  7. Going into a season thinking that Easley is going to all the sudden turn into a beast (and stay healthy)

    Vs.

Grabbing either Blackmon or Floyd and ensuring that you're addressing the postion

represents the difference between a winning mindset/attitute/mode of operation and what we have been doing for 12 years.

  8. 1. Stephon Gilmore, CB out of South Carolina

    2. Bobbie Massie, OT out of Mississippi

    3. Bruce Irvin, OLB out of West Virginia

    4. Marvin McNutt, WR out of Iowa

    4. Russell Wilson, QB out of Wisconsin

    5. Tank Carder, OLB out of TCU

    5. Matt McCants, OT out of UAB

    6. De'Quan Menzie, CB/S out of Alabama

    7. Travis Benjamin, WR out of Miami

    7. Mason Cloy, C out of Clemson

    THIS

  9. The Hypothetical Situation: Buffalo is on the clock. Miami took Tannehill, so Seattle will go for DE. Dallas wants to leapfrog Seattle, and offers its RD3 and RD5 to Buffalo to switch. They take Coples.

1 10 Dallas Quinton Coples DE34 North Carolina

    The Bills draft:

1 14 Buffalo Luke Kuechly ILB/OLB Boston College (158 tackles as OLB; 16 tkl/gm career avg.)

2 41 Buffalo Jayron Hosley CB Virginia Tech (Janoris Jenkins was there too)

3 71 Buffalo Brandon Mosley OT Auburn

3 81 Buffalo Reuben Randle WRF LSU

4 105 Buffalo Dwayne Allen TE Clemson

4 124 Buffalo Terrell Manning OLB43 North Carolina State

5 144 Buffalo QSaulsberry OC Mississippi State

5 147 Buffalo Brandon Taylor SS LSU

5 152 Buffalo Ch Minnifield CB Virginia

6 178 Buffalo Tyler Nielsen ILB Iowa (backs up Sheppard, Chris White)

7 217 Buffalo Dwight Jones WRP North Carolina (possession receiver)

7 251 Buffalo James Carmon RT Mississippi State

I'd book this draft today....with the exception that you have to put Russel Wilson in there at 124
