  1. yep, same here...cool, yet one needed to suspend one's logic and take some mighty leaps of faith (no pun intended)...still entertaining.
  2. I'm pretty certain that Bruce Smith put on some "performances". oh yeah...and he flunked drug test at least twice...wasn't he suspended his second year for 4 games? Yeah...solid character... Times have changed, the game has changed...
  3. In all fairness...I think the same can be said for the great Parcells and Jimmy Johnson. Show me one great coach who didn't have a ton of talent on the team...exception being the genius in NE.
  4. I've been waiting to use that word since the 7th grade...now I can die a happy man....
  5. you really got the impression from both Marv and RW that TD ran a real dictatorial regime at OBD...now it's going to be more of an oligarchy.
  6. hmmm...maybe....she really likes the shiny tassel that I adorn my...oh....never mind....
  7. That's what my wife said the other day regarding the Bills...now, you need to know, she knows little about football and cares even less...after I was done laughing, I asked her why he would be a good fit...her reply was "because I've heard of him"...I immediately asked her if she ever posted on TSW.
  8. yeah...way back on his 70th birthday, he towed 70 boats carrying 70 people while swimming handcuffed and shackled.
  9. Surprisingly HE gave me the mini helmet...he thinks it has some strange power that improves the Bills performance....funny thing is, it was in the house and the Bills did look pretty good.
  10. I got a mini helmet autographed by Jim Kelly and a Bills stadium blanket!
  11. no...first you're a head, then after several years you become a burnout, then you grow up, get married, get a job in Big Pharma and become a Republican.
  12. indeed...my 8 year old just loves them!
  13. when the Pats won the first SB how many elite players did they have?
  14. I think we have an elite kick returner...
  15. indeed...an elite yet underrated player. ....and Bruschi....roethlisberger....jimmy smith all not elite.
  16. you don't have to convince me that Collins was a good QB who got a raw deal.
  17. this should be good...
  18. Xactly! I was thinking maybe the Oracle....
  19. I gotta wonder what's in yer noggin'...they play on Saturday night...and you call yourself a fan?
  20. I'm not saying he's anything close to Farve but...it's way too early for ANYONE to make a final judgement on him...case in point.... “He was a wild and crazy quarterback in Atlanta in the games I watched,” Thompson said. “He did some great things and he did some things that kinda made you scratch your head.” Still, as late as the mid-1994 season, not everyone in the Packers’ football offices was sold on Favre. After Favre sprained his ankle at Minnesota and gave way to promising Mark Brunell, Holmgren polled the coaching staff the following Monday on whether Favre or Brunell should start the next week against Chicago. The Packers were 3-4 at the time, and Favre’s passer rating was below 75 points in three of the previous five games, including 25.8 points against the Vikings. At least a couple of assistant coaches said Favre was too undisciplined and advised going with Brunell. Holmgren stayed with Favre, who threw five touchdown passes in a win over the Bears the next week.
  21. EVEN number routes are ins (slants, curls, etc..), while ODD number routes are sideline routes (short/deep outs, flags, out and up, flys)....
  22. it's true...go to buffalobills.com. maybe I'll sand the floors Saturday night.
  23. I'm quite sure they said things like this about Manning and Palmer last year too...
