I am sure we will win 1 game some where just because it makes sense to me. However looking at the schedule I am not sure where it comes from. The Browns Defense has played decent, and have been in every game. The Lions are winless but have played very well, and the Jaguars beat the Colts today. It's safe to say we are in big trouble.

you know things are bad when.......
cmjoyce113 replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hahaha I was just laughing out loud because I didn't see this when I posted about having a daughter. I honestly don't want her to be a Bills fan. I figure I'll just watch Yankees games with her when she's little so hopefully she likes a team that will win occasionally. I think it's worse for me thinking that my kid is going to have to watch the Bills suck because of all the good memories I have growing up of the Bills being so good. -
More often than not children like the team that there parents like. Or the teams that they are most subjected to. I am having my first daughter in January and I have been thinking about how watching the Bills has become miserable the last decade. Watching the Sabres for the most part has been painful. I am not a huge baseball fan but I liked the Orioles forever because I grew up in Rochester watching the Redwings (who also suck). I like Syracuse and Notre Dame and for the most part they both suck. (Cuse basketball pulled through with one national title which at the time made me feel like all was right in the world and one team I liked was able to win something significant. ... I event thought they were going to blow it last second) So I was thinking should I root for teams that have a history of winning so my daughter isn't subjected to pure misery? Like root for the Yankees? How do other people subject there kids to a team that blows so much? I hate being miserable every Sunday.

Trade or Cut Evans and Whitner
cmjoyce113 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know everyone likes to pile on Whitner for not living up to the pick he was but he is quite possible the only player that brought it today other than Fitz. Is he a great safety? Absolutely not. Does he play with a lot of heart? Yes. Which is more than you can say about any other player on our team right now. I don't think I would pick on the teams leading tackler after today. It isn't really his fault that every time a running back touched a ball they gained 5.6 yards, or that Sanchez had a day and a half to throw the ball every time he dropped back. There is about 10 other guys on the Defense on every play that I would call out before him just this one time. Oh and just to throw it in there... you're right about Evans he blows. Send his ass packing, draft picks or no draft picks. Let Nelson be the #1 because Evans is non existent. I mean how much worse can he be at #1? -
Will the Bills make more mid-season cuts?

Pay Moran reported yesterday that jarmon Meredith is likely to be cut this week -
I just view Pryor as a freak what 6 foot 6 230 pound man runs a sub 4.5 40? I just think having an athlete like this at qb in the buffalo weather would be huge.

I wonder what some people would think of Terrelle Pryor being an option for next year if he enters the draft? This is under the assumption that Locker continues to plummet and Mallet and Luck are off the board. I think it might be a good fit for Gailey. In my opinion if we had a very mobile QB with a strong arm in combination with the speed receivers we have and the running backs we have I think that could be a lot for a defense to handle. Maybe I am crazy but I really think that Pryor might be a good fit. I guess the biggest questions is does anyone know if he is planning on entering the draft?

Tonight is must see TV for Bills Nation
cmjoyce113 replied to Teddy_Daniels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched the video posted and it looks like his ball wobbles quite a but on all mid to long range passes. Anyone else see that? Im watching on my iPhone so it might be because it's a small picture -
I tried to do a google search on which games were sold out this year. The only ones I could find were the Dolphins and Steelers with limited seats available for the Jets. All of these articles were from July though. I have season tickets so I don't really care one way or another but does anyone know if Sunday's game is an official sell out?

Demetrius Bell...run blocker extraordinaire?
cmjoyce113 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As of right now the Bills rank 13th in yards per carry. (per NFL.com) As for sacks given up we have allowed 8, which is good for 26th in the League. I am interested to see how this changes over the next few weeks without Edwards as QB. We only got sacked once last week and should be tested this week. In my opinion I am thinking we rank as an average O-line by the end of the year when it comes to run/pass blocking. -
He isn't any better than Fitzpatrick. No.
-
I would say more young drew Bledsoe... His feet kinda suck. I agree though that he looks better than luck.

I am going to put what I think may happen and I would like to see what people have to say. Let's notmturn this into draft a rb, another cb, or something dumb about how the bills suck, nix sucks, Ralph is dumb.... I don't care about any of that. So let's say the bills pick third behind Arizona and Cleveland which is completely possible. Sub whatever teams you would like but they both need a qb so I will use them. Let's say mallet and luck get taken (if luck even come out) locker doesn't grade out as first round talent. Where do we go? To memthe line didn't seem like the worst in the league yesterday. I think bell is decent and green needs to be replaced. Do we use our first pick on a right tackle? Do we reach for a qb because the top 2 are gone? I think we go line backer for someone that will create hell for opponents. What does everyone else think draft wise? Also where do we go for qb if this happens next year?
-
They don't want 2 kickers taking up roster spots. He is a kick off specialist they are trying to turn into a place kicker. I believe he led the league in touchbacks by quite a bit last year.
-
I read last week there will definitely be a draft. If there was no football I would imagine they could re enter the draft but risk getting drafted much lower than originally because there would be twice the talent. I dont have an answer for your third question.

I didn't see this posted anywhere and thought I would mention something. Maybe we can get this pinned and everyone can take a moment once a day and vote for a couple of the Bills players so we can finally get Andre Reed and Steve Tasker into the Hall. Eligible this year and in the group of 125 is: Steve Tasker Andre Reed Darryl Talley Fred Smerlas Cornelius Bennett Kent Hull http://www.fanschoice.com/ Thanks for the help. As of right now the rank for fan votes is as follows: Talley 1, Reed 2, Tasker 3, Bennett and Hull tied at 4, Smerlas 5. We are on top of it as fans so far, but let's keep going and get these guys in. We all know they deserve it.

I am sick of people not understanding that it takes a player to want to sign with a team as well as a team wanting to sing them. I never heard Incognito speak up saying he wanted to stay in Buffalo.

Worst cities for NFL game traffic
cmjoyce113 replied to buffalobillsfootball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I went to the Philly Thanksgiving night game a couple years back and it took no time to get out of there. We just pulled out, drove down the street and were on the main highway. Not bad at all. -
Some of the shirts on that website are pretty funny actually.

I don't remember which press conference it was last off season whether it was when they hired Nix or Gailey, Kelly and Thurman spoke afterwards. I know that Jim Kelly said he has been on and currently is on the Bills Payroll. I don't have the direct quote...sorry.

I have not gotten one. I emailed my rep yesterday and she said they went in the mail this week. I am concerned though because my pins came yesterday and I didn't see a discount card so hopefully today.

Mike and Mike....for real? worst team ever seen?
cmjoyce113 replied to PJBrown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea I couldn't believe someone has the balls to look at the Bills and call them the worst ever..that's a little much if you ask me. -
Your right it's not overly positive but reading an article that says nothing about us going 0-16 or having the #1 pick in the draft is nice once in a while. Nothing personal. If you like the article you do, if not that's cool too.
