  1. LMAO. Look, more fanboy articles with more flaws: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/buffalo-bills-tyrod-taylor-nfl-history-record-rushing-yards-passer-rating-011516 The only thing thats flawed in this entire thread is derailing what TT accomplished this season.
  2. This the thing: TSW isnt saying he had a good year - PFF is saying he had a good year. Are they fanboys too? Did TSW select TT for the Pro Bowl? These fanboys you speak of must have a lot of pull. Or, could if simply be that TT had a pretty damn good year and people that follow the NFL - other than Bills fan - acknowledge he had a pretty damn good year. So for the 100th time what is there to not be excited about? Can we as fans be excited about something QB related for once? Nobody here is saying hes the second coming of Aaron Rodgers. But it still doesnt take away from all the positive he did this season.
  3. Im not mad. Look at my posts. Last I checked the NFL isnt a tennis match where TT plays Kirk Cousins. Point is you hijacked what should have been a positive thread with your complaining. You disagree with the award. Too bad.
  4. Why are you so mad dude? This thread celebrates one of the few positives from this season - and TT is a positive from this season - an youre on here sounding like one angry mofo. Read ur posts. Nothing but smart ass remarks and pure anger. I dont get it.
  5. Cool. And to be completely accurate - TT was 8-6 as a starter this year.
  6. LOL..Right. Those same QB's disappear for halves at times even as seasoned veterans. It happens.
  7. Give me a QB that doesn't experience that every once in a while, let alone a 1st-year starter.
  8. Manziel is currently in Cleveland - if Manziel can't handle the temptations of CLEVELAND, I don't know what to say.
  9. Congrats TT! I'm finally really excited about a QB in buffalo.
  10. Awesome, thanks for looking that stuff up! I agree about the LB position. I was hoping we could have brought David Harris over here from the Jets - I feel a veteran player like him, with experience in Rex's system, would have been a huge addition to this defense. The Jets probably feared that too and that's why they appeared to overpay him a bit.
  11. Thanks for all the info Dave. Just some thoughts and maybe you can give me the numbers: - if your defense has poor field position you're going to give up few yards per scoring drive because the opposing team has less distance to go to score. - plays per drive can also be dependent on starting position for the opposing offense (less field means less plays generally) I think the most telling stats would be points per drive and avg start position. If you rank high in pts per drive and rank low on avg start position then i think thats pretty telling bc your defense is being put in a tough spot and ur still doing a good job. What have those numbers been throughout the years since 2012?
  12. I haven't looked into - but if an opposing offense has great field position , then wouldn't you automatically rank high in yds/drive by default? Aren't "drive start position" and "yards per drive" sort of inversely correlated to each other? If an offense starts on their 40yd line and scores, that scoring drive is going to be much shorter. I don't think you can automatically make a leap and say that points wouldn't have been scored if they started on their own 25yd line. You can make an assumption that it would be harder for the opposing team to score, but not conclusively. The points per drive number is relevant I'd say.
  13. I'm sorry but I watched that 2013 defense. We all watched that 2013 defense. They weren't 4th overall in anything.
  14. With the same core group of defensive players (KW, MW, MD, Gilmore, McKelvin and Hughes since 2013) this defense in the last 4 years has ranked in pts/game: 2012: 26th (27.2pts/g) 2013: 23rd (24.2pts/g) 2014: 4th (18.1pts/g) 2015: 15th (22.4 pts/g) How about the following hypothesis: 2014 was an outlier where everything went right and the stars aligned and two players who were playing for contracts had monster years: Hughes and MD.
  15. Great article; hadn't read it.
  16. This off-season is turning into the following: Toilet clogged at One Bills drive. %##$&& Rex! Secretary orders wrong ink cartridge model. *#%*£¥ Rex!!!! Gas prices go up. $%%$@* REX!!!
  17. Houston makes so much sense if im RGIII. I would have instant support from the fanbase. I would have a great defense. I would have a great WR. And most importantly, i would be competing against Hoyer.
  18. Its the alternate spelling there too.
  19. ANEURISM is a word, genius. I dont need to rely on spell check.
  20. Oh lord. It might be fulfilling but it sure as hell isnt a busy career considering you have 500 posts in this thread alone, having an aneurism over the hiring of an assistant. Get over yourelf.
  21. I'm not pulling anything over my eyes..but geesh man. It's January 11, 2016 and the 2016 season is over for you.
  22. Are you always this positive?
