  1. Alot of people were giving him crap about his use of the game clock and the timeouts for last weekends game, my good friend that I watch all the games with included. I was agreeing with him Perry's decisions the whole way and thought he did what he should have to give his team a shot to win. I was sick of hearing "oh he should have let them score then try to stop the 2 point convert". !@#$ that. You never let a team score unless maybe a safety against you in a very rare instance. Perry seems fired up and a pretty decent coach. It seems like he wants to toughen these guys up and see how they respond. I like him and am glad that Ralph gave him the opportunity to lead this team.
  2. IMO donte seems afraid to half the time to make contact. And i just wish when he did hit someone a ball would pop out every once in a while. Now that i think of it, our defense doesnt have many forced fumbles at all does it? The only one i can think of atop my head is that Panther doing his best impression of that tiny twirp, joke of a player, laughing stalk of my friends and I, Roscoe Parrish. He muffed the punt, so that wasn't even a forced fummble. Donte just needs to step his game up and get a nother pick or 2. Maybe a sack off a blitz. JUST DO SOMETHING!!!!
  3. i don't know why everyone is so enamoured with the 3-4 defense. People started jumping on the Tampa-2 trend after the Bucs showed their prowess at man-handling opposing offenses. Seems everyone wants 3-4 now as thats the new trend in the league. I do not mind the defense the way it is, id just like it mixed up a bit, more aggressive, more twists, and some better players. 3-4 defense obviously needs certain people to play. With more coaching staffs making the switch, the competition for these players rise. Id say keep the defense, trade whitner for a 6th rounder, release that joke of a player, Mitchell, who doesn't understand the rules of the game that say he can use his hands to tackle someone and sprinkle some new veterans on the D with some draft picks and lets fight. If our offense got more competent our defense could roll with any heavyweight offense in the league.
  4. id probably prefer to let Brohm learn and practice for the next few weeks then come out as our starter against K.C. That team is playing tough now, and it would be a real learning experience for Brohm to go into Arrowhead and fight the scrapy chiefs. This is all depending on how smart he is, how well he learns playbook. I thought Fitz had more than a few poor passes but he did alot of good things. He's a decent QB and wouldnt' mind having him fight for a spot on the team next year. If we draft an early round QB no need to send him in right away. Maybe let him sit on the bench for the year learning like how Palmer did in Cincy. Fitz could be the starter next year while we groom Mallet er uh whoever our QB may be. Im not saying i want him to be the starter but i think he should be part of the discussion in the offseason. He should battle Brohm and one of the following for a starter/backup/3rd string role: David Carr, Rex Grossman, Tavaris Jackson and Kyle Boller. So that would be 4 QB's on the roster if we drafted one. Competition makes everyone better.
  5. NOT CLOSE AT ALL! rediculous. why do u come to websites like this. football is the greatest sport, game, mind-f uck there is. I actualy just woke from a dream when i was smashing into people on my high school football field. what a feeling. yes i understand what your saying about too many penalties and rules and such but the quality of athlete in the NFL and the art of deception that is football is more beautiful than a sunset.
  6. i like poz but it just seems he realy doesn't do anything. he makes some tackles but he's not a force by any means. lack of big plays, which are INT's, sacks, FF. He rarley gets in the backfield to make stops for losses. I don't think you get rid of him yet because he is slightly above average and you need the depth.
  7. chop both edwards and hamdan. bills just signed former 2nd rounder Brohm so let that kid get some snaps. hopefully in the draft they target a good qb and in free agency bring in chris redman, kyle boller, or david carr and have them battle fitz, and brohm for the starter gig, and have our rookie watch, practice and absorb the game. id let him play some football, try to get him 50 pass attempts on the year.
  8. I totaly agree with Poeticlaw. I would simply put his quote here but haven't figure that out. Getting rid of Dick now is a brilliant move. Should have been done along time ago but now that its happened it still feels great. This next 7 weeks the players will have a resurgance and like perry says "Play like hell and win". This is an audition to see who has fire, passion and ability to make the team and help the team win games next year. I 100% believe Dicks' laid back, calm demeanor and him telling the guys "its ok we lost, as long as we tried" bull **** has taken a major toll on the toughness of these players. I like Perrys' quote when he said : “We’ll be the Buffalo Bills,” Fewell said. “We’ll represent you well and be the Buffalo Bills.” If Perry proves to have leadership, grit and smarts then all the better if he remains our HC or still DC next year. He can provide valuable insight to the new HC which players should stay and who has gone soft from Dick droppin to one knee to put a Band-Aid on a players knee then pattin his head and telling him he's a good boy.
  9. nah nah nah nah! nah nah nah nah! hey hey hey! goodbye! now dick can go back to his dwelling and plot how to finaly take down He-Man and the Castle of Grayskull!
  10. but what realy boggles my mind is why does wilson give a **** about cutting dicks contract and costing himself 8 million? what is 8 million when you are worth almost a billion? realy....his wife musta talked a lot of bull **** to him. "oh ralphy! don't settle. I need every nickel i can get so once youve passed i can go buy a small island in the carribean". I don't understand insanly wealthy people.....there greed just baffles me.
  11. gugny.... while i admit that t-shirt is a little bit vulgar, i disagree with you. This isn't just a game, its a tradition, its a lifestlye, it means a !@#$ of alot more than the New York Bowling championships. Or the England Darts Tourny. Bills football, Bills Pride envokes the strongest emotions from me. roller coaster of emotions of extreme highs and lows. They can make you a manic depressant. If the head coach doesnt think of it that way he shouldn't be here. Game planning and studying film and team preperation should be alot more important to him that having dinner with his wife on their anniversary, or attending one of his daughters birthday parties. Life revolves around the Bills, and thats how a head coach should view it. I don't think DJ feels 1% that strongly, altho i don't believe he doesnt' care at all. he would probably like a win but it doesnt' hurt him if they lose it. I don't like that. Buffalo Pride and the legendary Buffalo Bills are amongst the most important things to a die-hard like me.
  12. awesome freakin player! such amazing instincts and awareness. made a touchdown saving tackle. throws his body into opponents when there getting wrapped up hoping for a forced fumble. Lit up Jamal Lewis a couple weeks ago. one hell of player, and im super happy he's a bill. no contreversy at all if whitner is back. i like the bryd/wilson tandem. keep them in. playmakers. if byrd has a long career in buffalo his name will be on the WALL!
  13. anybody with anything negative to say about bryd should leave this forum now. the kid missed OTA's and had a sports hernia. Altho he isnt perfect in run support, thats something that will come in time thru experience and time in the system. He did absolutlely flatten Lewis last week, so the kid can hit. A free safety isn't counted on as much as a SS for run support. Bryd flaps his wings and makes plays. His instincts are not something u can teach. His first pick i don't think donte would have made. (deffenently not the glad-he's-gone Simpson). Right place, right time, great awareness. His second pick was perfect timing to leap up there and snatch the ball outta the air. I was pissed at first when Corner took Byrds 3rd pick away, but the team is more important than the individual. The kid is here to play and will only get better. In a couple years he will be mentioned in the same breath as Ed Reed.
  14. sorry to say guys, but i think we might have to gather up a gang of us and go knock on Dicks door and "gently" and "politely" ask him to resign as head coach ASAP. The f&^%ing idiot doesn't even care that much. A bills loss for him is like one of us losing 20$ in a slot machine. Ya it stings a tiny bit, but it doesn't realy matter. Its only 20$. ('its only a bills game'). Im sure we could round up a few of his players to help convince DICK to quit. He better resign soon before one of us snaps and does something life altering.
  15. Thank you for posting this, and altho i wholeheartedly agree, im not surprised. "Football Night In America" is now in what? its 3'rd season? 4th? i hate that show. i don't like the analysts, i don't like the backround, theres nothing i like. I used to love the team of Chris Burman who is obviously amazing at what he does, and Tom Jackson who knows so much depth and detail about the game. Both were just freaking awesome. And the music? Just was a great show. "And he's bummbling! and he's rummbling! and he's stummbling! and wait!.....WOOOOP!! Da Ball comes out and it's Buffalo's Ball!" no i do anything but watch FNIA. i always wait monday morning and watch it on "the score" or "tsn".
  16. what an amazing, lucky play. incredible veteran prescence to make the HUGE play at crunch time. that play was almost as impressive to me as tyree grabbing the helmet against the head, altho that play probably is bigger because of the implications it carried. i just wanted to say WOW! good job stokley. when does his contract expire? Get er done, ross! (No please don't)
  17. hahha your such a faggot. you wish JR was t-boning you on a pile of "RAIN-X" wipers. haha. you r ' a clone ' i assume? which means what? you wish you were Jim Rome? you will follow anythign Rome says? "go use some Rain-X" signed, The Guy who Sells Rain-X (thats supposed to be funny?)
  18. I was reading thru some posts and one poster wrote some lame joke-thing signed, Regards, blah blah blah who here actualy likes jim rome? I cannot stand that 'cat' when he 'throws down' some topics and some heavy new-age lingo. what is a clone? what is WAR? that idiot repeats himself over and over, but maybe thats what captivates the attention of some of you fools. I hate that man, he is a terrible host, talks smack about everyone but sucks up to everyone he interviews. HE PAUSES FOR MINUITES AT A TIME (shuffles papers around) I want to see that mans world come crashing down. HATE HIM. hes an idiot, and if call yourself a "clone" of his, you are a much BIGGER IDIOT!!!! "fat-FAT!" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" "its not ryan its ryan" some of you would sit there and laugh at him repeat that 78 times. i spend that time figuring out the best place to insert my bowie blade into his neck
  19. whats with the lame jim rome type posts? r u one of jim romes 'clones'? how does anybody actualy like that man? regards, the guy who hates jim rome
  20. i HATE scrawny, pathetic dick jauron. He looks terrified constantly. He looks afraid when talking to the officials like they are going to hit him. Did that mans father whoop his ass bad when he was a boy? Any man who is a fan of dick, or sticks up for him, you are a complete FOOL!!!!!!! i bet you 90% of posters on this board could run a tighter ship, a more powerful fearful team that other teams are scared to play. Dick likes to end each practice with a round of Duck-Duck-Goose followed by naptime. This idiot should open a daycare center instead of half-ass coaching the football team i love more than my girlfriend and my parents.
  21. sorry guys. the number were under the proper columns when i was writing it...
  22. i think maybin might get a few snaps in a real regular season game around week 3. I think his stat line at the end of the year will read something like this: G GS TT ST AT SAC INT PD FF FR 7 0 18 7 11 0.5 0 0 0 1 pretty pathetic for a number one 11th overall pick. Hes going to be pretty much useless to our team this year. He will just help out by giving the starters a breather once in a while. Stupid future bust holdout idiot!
  23. i CANNOT STAND people who go to the game and wont cheer and yell when our D needs us. Ever hear of the 12th man? Thats supposed to be us you 'casual-fans'
  24. sabres..yawn....... im tunnel endzone but was only there vs cleveland monday night. I don't stand the whole game but when its time for a big play for our D im up cheering everyone to stand. r u the prick that gave me the finger that game? I got alot of people fired up that game. I CANNOT STAND
