I would not be shocked if the Bills took Jordan or Quinn at 3 spot, they need another DE since they got rid of Marcus. Unless they truly believe that Carrington is ready to start DE at 3 is not really a reach is it??

If the Bills take Miller that tells me they will put Kelsey back at DE, where he belongs. If they don't take Miller they firmly believe that Merriman is healed and ready to get back on the field and they believe Moats can continue to improve. I would rather them take a big guy that can play DE and get heat on the QB's or a DT to stop the run.

I say right now the Bills will Not draft a QB at 3. They have a respected leader in Fitz....even the guys in the locker room are willing to workout with him.....says alot about his leadership skills. This gives me another reason the like Fitz even more

Like to point out that he did good behind a average line that needs a RT badly and Buddy said that they need a RT. If they manage to upgrade the line somehow the running game will get better, which will help Fitz get better. How many times did Freddy get hit behind the line of last year? To many to count. I see more upside in Fitz with Gailey coaching him. Therefore its a must the bills upgrade the D more than they need a QB at this point. could see them address the Oline in the second round or 3rd.

Remember the Steelers didn't have Big Ben for the first 4 games last year. They won with a backup QB, strong running game, dominate D. So yes Fitz in that situation could have lead them to the playoffs. Don't think anybody beats Green Bay the way Rodgers was playing. But my point is a fierce D will get you deep into the playoffs as long as the QB can manage the Offense and moves the chains. Fitz can certainly do that. Ofcourse Fitz is not as good as Rodgers. But he had Pittsburg beat last year if Stevie catches that pass.

I voted he CAN win a Super Bowl with a dominating Defense. In the AFC Ravens, Steelers, Jets made the playoffs based on there D. Granted Big Ben has won 2 Super Bowls and got to another. Flacco to me is an above average QB but Sanchez to me is a average QB. If, and this is a huge if, the Bills can get Merriman back to health, draft Miller or the best DE/DL on their board with the 3rd pick, get another LB in the second the D will be better. But lets face it, they wont be playoff ready until 2012 regardless on who is playing QB. Because the Bills BIGGEST holes are on Defense. I say fix the Defense this year, lets see if Fitz can improve on last years numbers, I maintain that any QB we draft this year will not be better than Fitz .

+1Besides Gabbert needs schooling and would be sitting behind fitz for most of the year if not all of it. At #3 the Bills have to draft a defensive player that can start Week 1. This is my stand and I am sticking to it.

You guys give Fitz no credit whatsoever. I for one believe he might get better with a off season learning more about Chan's offense. Besides they can get a major impact players on Defense in rounds 1 and 2. I like the 3rd round pick for RT and Buddy said himself we need one so that might happen. I have said all year that we need to find players that can rush the passer and stop the run. Even though TE is a need no way we draft one in the 2nd.

Stopping the run is a bigger issue than QB, we cant let the Jets or Chiefs just run on us like last year. Who knows...Fitz may get better with an off season with Gailey, if he can cut down on the INT's and we get some more production from spiller we will be fine on Offense. We Really need some LB's.

Quinn I am not sure about. Missed a year of football. I would take Peterson over Quinn. Darius over Quinn also if we get lucky Panthers pick Cam Newton and the Broncos pick Peterson.

Well normally we would have had free agents done already. This throws the draft in a different light. We may have the draft before the CBA is completed. Is there a QB FA out there the Bills like? McNabb is the only one I would like to back up Fitz and we know he is not coming here. So I do believe they will take a QB....but not In the first round.

If I had Buddy power would have to find somebody that can help us stop the run. Seems like alot of people are on the Von Miller bandwagon. I am not one of those guys. Rather them draft a Big guy ... Darius, Quinn, Bowers if he checks out health wise or even slide down a bit to get Watt . I can live with Fitz this year. We do need to find a backup for him though. 1st....DE or DL 2nd....LB 3rd....Backup QB or best TE 4th....BPA on Defense

Run Defense has to be addressed. Priority #1. Want somebody this year to help stop the run. LB both inside and out. Don't know what we have in Batten or Merriman. Moats seems to have promise but I would like to add somebody bigger inside to help Poz out. RT Would be smart to add a RT in the second round or 3rd.

You mentioned Farve....he played until he was 40 Mannings problems was with his WR's getting banged up and they were not on the same page, that's not a wear and tear issue. Brady, sad to say has easy 4 or 5 years left. He might not be the MVP next year but you have to admit he would be in the running. I would be concerned with that because we play him 2 times a year. Even if we draft Newton or Gabbert we talking two more years before they are truly ready. I don't believe those guys are franchise QBs JMO He maybe the player that can helps us right now the most, and you add that McGee cant stay healthy and McKelvin not the sharpest pencil in the drawer AND Florance a FA CB would be a need. My point is they need D more than they need a QB right now.

They knew they had to get rid of Beast Mode. BPA at the time...trust Spiller will be fine, Fred Jackson will see to that

I say if he is there the Bills should take him..... BPA was the Bills pick last year and I think they are going to do the same this year. Spiller will be alright IMO. Peterson can start right away and play well and it would lead to the Bills Blitzing more with Merriman, Moats, and they can get a good player DE or LB at the top of the second round.

Folks when you look at the AFC East who is the player that is the Best? Tom Brady No doubt about it, the player that we have to defend 2 times a year happens to be the MVP. So it stands to reason that the Bills will draft the best Defensive player on the board. It is not rocket science, matter of fact it's easy to see. Now the Best players on the board to me are P. Peterson , Bowers, Von Miller . Do they take a risk on Bowers maybe the next Peppers? Peterson maybe the next Darrell Revis but bigger and faster. Miller stock is climbing, plus the Bills staff saw him up close and personal. Peterson will be the pick my reasons being the draft is deep at DL and DE and you can put Peterson on the teams best WR and blitz Brady until he cant walk.... If Merriman can come back do they need Miller?...that's a big if but we do have Moats also who they like alot. Just don't see them passing on a shutdown corner and I hope they don't fall in love with Newton so much that they ignore what they need most...... DEFENSE

I voted for Dareus in your first poll and I am sticking to it. The guy is what we need, I still believe that stopping the run has to be first priority in this draft because they sucked so bad last year on D. Bowers or Miller our my only options after him.
