You know Jim Kelly had a lot more interceptions than TT, I would take JK all day every day over TT. That interceptable stat means nothing to me.

Well you have two options besides trading up,,,,you can stay where you are and maybe we get him without trading up. Or you trust your board and take the next best OL on your board and keep the picks.

I didnt mind the first trade up for Zay when we also got a 5th. This one for what...move up 12 spots and give up a 3rd and 2 5ths I didnt like so much. Dont worry about what Carolina was going to do, would of rather stayed put and drafted the best OL on our board and keep the extra picks. This had a little of meet the new boss,same as the old boss. I can add to my signature ...we used a 1,1,2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, and a 5 to draft Watkins, Ragland and Dawkins. Thats 9 picks on 3 guys and none of those picks are 6ths or 7ths. Thats more than a entire regular draft of 7 picks, again on 3 guys. Let that sink in.

Well the one good thing about giving McCoach so much power is that we wont constantly be changing schemes especially on defense.

To me the bad contracts and the number of FAs we had, the cap situation is on both Whaley and Overdorf. Not just one of them. They have to work together and know if we sign player A to X number of dollars how that will affect us down the road with other players.

When Overdorf is gone I will feel much better. Interesting news coming out that Whaley was the only guy on not on board with Tyrod. .

That just shows that at the most important position in the game Whaley just doesn't have it. I agree with what you wrote. Marrone could see EJ didnt have it lobbied to get someone else in camp late......Rex could see it also and lobbied for TT. Without the coach's input we would of had a solid 4 years of watching EJ flounder. That pass in the flat he missed against the Jets in the finale said it all to me. Nice big, strong young man......starting NFL QB----nope. Whaley has now added Jones....another big, strong young man but this one is immature, bails back to Ohio and most likely will never get it, lets be honest. Watkins and Ragland were not worth giving up the depth that was traded away with a no. 1 pick and three 4's . We could use 4 guys on 4 year contracts right now. Please tell me how much OT he's played. The backup G spot is not a need with Groy signed. To project him at RT, a guy who has bounced around and never started a full season, at 29 he's going to bloom in a starting RT. This signing is bottom the barrel desperation.
