I cant imagine they play this week. I think the best answer so far is to move forward and play next week's games. After the last game is done - flip a coin for the Bills/Bengals.... or flip two coins. The first decides if it's a tie. The second decides who wins.

Just saw a really good point - if they announce immediately that the game is postponed, the emergency vehicles now have to deal with prohibitive traffic when seconds count.
0% chance this factored into the decision. They wouldn't make that call until after the ambulance had left. They would have a good head start on stadium traffic and likely a police escort.

Kolber was not up to the task - really Schefter wasn't either.
Booger said what needed to be said, but Van Pelt and Clark were amazing given the circumstances

It was a disappointment at the time - they doubled down on DE when there was glaring need and top choice match (Creed Humphrey). Outside of that, he's like most 2nd rounders in that class have been meh.

This also creates an issue with Devante Adams as he stated he would not have gone to the Raiders if he knew this would happen. The Raiders are in for a messy off season.
I'd send them a 3rd rounder for Adams if they eat part of his salary - Get 'r done Beane.

As cliche as it sounds - “Trust the process”.
Even in the first Miami game, we were the better team. A lot of “fans” looked at the results rather than the process. Despite all of the Bills’ injuries, the team assembled (players and staff) is still better than the competition.

Welcome to the new America guilty until proven innocent ! We've been watching this for the better part of 3 plus years everyday in the media !
He should be maybe taken off the job until a investigation into why this happened is done & there can be a determination to exactly why it happened then proceed if any discipline needs doing .
But by the looks of it it could have been handled a bit more civilized but there could have been some extenuating circumstances but 4 on 1 COME ON MAN .

2) He has been suspended by the NFL network while they review the matterThere's also this:

They also have a OL that fits the scheme. They're very good and surrounding their RB with OL and pushing the scrum forward

I can remember pelting the broncos bus with snowballs in 2005 and the police escort as well....oh to be young, drunk and invincible.
I agree that it's not part of the game, and have no issue with security picking out the 100's of violators and kicking them out. That said, to expect that it won't happen or to penalize a team is foolish. If the league has an issue with safety, the course should be to stop play and/or pull players from the field. After that the, crowd will enforce itself.

Sure ... a sweatshirt works great when the wind chill is below 0 and you're digging your car out of a 10' drift.

^This - you can always put a sweatshirt on when it's cold.
When it's hot and muggy, there's nothing you can do but hop from air conditioned space to air conditioned space.- 1

There goes that highest paid nfl guaranteed contract Lamar wanted. What a greedy idiot
I don't think he was greedy - I think he just exposed himself to more risk than he should have. These players have one shot at it.
Was Aaron Judge greedy to turn down the Yankees last season? He turned down 7 years for $213.5 million - had a season for the ages and was rewarded with 9 years for $360 million. -

He was released.... he didn't release anything.

Baker Mayfield is an option now too...

Matt Barkley or another PS QB can be signed as a backup. I think they keep Purdy as the starter.

NFL deals should absolutely be fully guaranteed. I hope they get it. To offset they should also reduce or eliminate the concept of dead cap.
Guarantee them for injury - but not for laziness. You shouldn't have to pay a player like Albert Haynesworth that eats himself out of the league after getting paid.

I think Shakir is that guy, and hopefully his role will start to pick up similar to what we've seen from Cook. McKenzie seems like a great guy, but I have little trust in him at this point.

I believe that if the Bills did not activate Tre, he would be on IR for the rest of the year.
Is that correct?
They could have activated him for a day, and put him back on the IR for 4 weeks - at least that's my understanding.

As a human, I'm hoping that they have counselors available to help players process.
As a fan, I'm fearful that this impacts players beyond this game and this season. I go back to Tre White talking about how his injury gave him a chance for the first time to see that he's more than a football player, and that there's more to life than the game he's played since he was a kid. I can see an event like this triggering someone, that already has thoughts about the greater meaning, to walk away early.
