I like you’re list, but would replace

    Mario with Takeo.

Moulds would be a great DK Metcalf type teamed up with Diggs and Davis.  What a combination.

Clements could lead as 2nd, and Elam can learn behind him.

Takeo would replace Edmunds as a perfect ILB.  Someone earlier said Takeo over Milano.  Obviously a couple don’t realize how much of an impact Milano makes on this team as the Wil.  Edmunds is not a Wil.  He’s the Sam and Takeo was far better in the same role.  This is not me indicting Edmunds simply Edmunds still has holes and is a make or been year for him.

Thats my play along for this game.  That would be a heck of a team, not that I’m not incredibly happy with the team we have this year.

I thought about Takeo, but the game is different now and I don’t know how he’d do vs modern TEs.  If we were playing Tennessee every week, sign me up.  Putting Williams opposite Miller would be massive destruction for a pocket.

I think raising the legal age to buy a gun to 25 should be something both sides of the argument can agree upon.

Maybe varied degrees - 18 to own a hunting rifle/shotgun with limitation on clip size.  21 to own a handgun or larger magazine.

The 2022 version of a triplet is QB, WR, Pass Rusher.

    Allen

    Diggs

    Von Biller

    We good

Exactly - you could say that the 90's Bills were Kelly, Reed, Thurman and Smith - I like our chances with Allen, Diggs, Cook and Miller.

If I buy a product, then I should be able to use that product however I want to ... including re-selling it for a profit.

The libertarian in me agrees - however the alternative is that the seller can put any limitations they want into contracts.  Would you like it if the Bills said, use of tickets cannot be assigned without the seller's  written permission?

The guess here is that they were beaten to the punch on Stout.  I can’t recall a year in which three punters were drafted.  Not saying it didn’t happen; I just don’t remember.  Joe B has a nice write up today on the value of the holder, which Stout is and which Araiza is not.

Anyhow, I think the thesis on Haack remains the same.  He’s a hang time/positional guy who, when our offense puts together a few first downs, can effectively trap the opponent deep in its territory if we’re forced to punt.  I appreciate that he sucked last year, but I’m not sold on the idea that he’s a goner.  I agree with you that we’ll see what happens in camp and go from there.

    2018, 2016, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2004, 1999, 1993, 1991, 1990, 1989, 1988, 1987, 1986, 1985, 1984, 1983, 1982, 1980.........

It's happened a lot, but not with this year's love affair and nicknames.

  6. I think it's a solid B+.  It filled positions of need and largely mirrors what we saw in mock drafts by pundits and fans alike.

Outside of the Bernard pick which seemed really early at the time, there weren't any shock moments.  Having listened to interviews after the pick, I can see where he impressed them.  My guess is they had a 4th round grade on him, but didn't want to risk it or couldn't find a trade back partner.

I'm interested to see what player you're really adverse to picking that you're currently seeing mocked to the Bills.

Mine is Kaiir Elam who I think takes too many penalties and is a mediocre tackler.  With a run of CBs early, there's a chance he's the best available CB if we don't move up - at that point I really hope we go with another position.

This didn't age well.  I will happily be proven wrong!

Or they played the old ring Buffalo and say "look we like a corner... if we make this pick that is what we are taking.... but if you want to come up for a 4th round pick...."

If you like the guy you take him. You wouldn’t give the competition the option to have their choice for a 4th.

Recent movies being shot in Buffalo seem to suggest this is incorrect. There’s been more shot in Buffalo in previous years tho point to Buffalo actually spending some tax incentives to do it. I just think it looked bad for us and that’s why they nixxed it. Just my opinion.

This was 9 years ago.  The Bills did not nix it.  The film makers pulled out.

Originally Buffalo was supposed to be the main character team. I believe they opted against it because it would have made us look foolish based on the storyline. I don’t remember exactly. But it was talked about when the movie came out.

I believe NY didn't offer them the tax incentives that Ohio did, so they changed the team.

Fans put too much hope on the 1st round pick.  When you are picking 25th, getting an elite play maker is a tall order.

I kind of disagree - whoever we pick will be in a position to succeed. It's easier for someone to come on board a true contender and be impactful day 1 than it is to go somewhere with little surrounding talent.

  13. Trade three first rounders?
    Callahan was a sure thing.
    but he had no friends

    Weaver wrote a note
    Vontae Mack no matter what.
    overpaid for pick

    Bo starts to fall fast
    Jaguars GM is raw
    Takes seconds for first

    Seattle on phone
    Three firsts and David Putney
    pancake eating f#*$

    Ray Jennings is here
    Second generation back
    New head coach happy

  14. If Gardner, Stingley, McDuffie and Booth are all already taken, I think you go another avenue with 25.  If one of them is available, It's likely  a perfect fit of BPA and position of need.

If the Bills go WR/OL/LB in the first, I expect them to move up and take  a shot at McCreary or Elam, Gordon or take a chance Woolen at 57.
