  1. McKelvin lost the game because of bad playing..... he stunk in this game.... lots of the Pats air offense was thrown in McKelvins direction....... His decision making is really bad....... just listen to him talk and you can see why
  2. It is really dismal reading about the Bills now a days and what they have done with the team over the past 10 years. It is hard staying a fan. They even want to move the team to Toronto and yet we stay fans.... Wonder why sometimes. They have made some good moves, but they Do Not keep up with the other clubs, talent wise, coaching wise and front office wise........ What a wonderful team to root for....... Strickly mediocre to say the best about them...... If they can win 3 games with this awful inexperienced offensive line it will be a wonder. It will also be a wonder if Edwards does not get a season ending injury sometime during the season and we will all say he is injury prown.......lol As I have said before, we are in for a long season... The big question will be, when does Jauron get fired ? I say at the BYE........ And he should....... So should Wilson....... For not hiring a football man like Bill Cowher to head up the football operation of the Bills.....or someone like him A marketing man is ok to keep the franchise financially solvent...... But please bring in a man who can put a winner on the field...... Unfortunately it will not happen for it would cost Wilson too much money... He is still thinking way in the past as far as money is concerned even with him being a billionaire...... You would think he at 90 years of age would want to go out a winner.......he has been around a long time and he has to know what it will take to make the Bills a winning franchise... Is having a few more dollars in his pocket all that important to him? Apparently so..... Other wise we would see or could have seen better decision making on his part....... It really all starts at the very top of any company or organization to make things better..... He has the money and security for life for him and his family. What a better way to go out than to make the Bills a winner....... I would love for him to bring in Bill Cowher to run the operation....or someone like him with proven ability. Miami has done it with Bill Parcells and now Kansas City has brought in a new man to run the team in the front office. As I said it all starts at the top........ But what can you expect from Mr. Wilson right now. He is too set in his ways to make positive changes in the teams front office......... Looks like we are stuck once again with another really bad Bills team this year...... Not with the players so much as with the management of the team in the front office and coaches........ That is where the real problem lies with this team..... OUCH ... in my opinion
  3. The best college quarterback this year will be drafted by the New England Patriots with the Raiders first round pick. The Raiders are so bad they may just finish dead last this year..... In any event the Patriots will most likely draft a QB who eventually will replace Brady...... I betcha....lol
  4. The question then would be what do you do with Walker? I would move him to Right Tackle........ He is pretty good there ... I would then move Brad Butler to Right Guard...making the right side of the line much stronger I would move Wood to Left Guard ..... Keeping Handgartner where he is at Center..... Again this is a complete change on the Offensive Line but would be a upgrade.... Once Bell takes over at Left Tackle he could be a fixture there for years... I would not dismiss this idea....... But this would still keep the O-line pretty young and shaky till they learn to play together........The talent is there. They just have to put it all together.......The right side of the line would be much more dependable. It will be the learning curve of Wood and Bell that will be important.......Both of those players have raw talent...
  5. The head coach is not up to snuff....... The problems start at the top.... get rid of Jauron now before the season starts....... There are really good coaches on the side lines just waiting for a phone call.... The Bills made a mistake keeping him at the end of last season.... Will they bite the bullet now or later in letting Jauron go...??? I believe they are screwing up Trent Edwards ...... He has shown he can play a lot better than what he is showing now.... It all goes back to the coaching.......
  6. Why do we have to wait for the Bills front office to fire Jauron during mid season? Do it now and get your pick of some great head coaches sitting on the side lines right now... They would love to be head coach of the Bills... There is a lot of talent on the Bills right now... They need much better coaching.........NOW Our whole system offensively and defensively are out dated....... We need new thinking at the top...... NOW ... not later... Jauron should have been replaced at the end of last season and many fans would have loved it if he were... Now it is looking like we have to suffer one more long season under his command..... The Bills are getting their asses kicked badly. It has not been this way in years and years..... The Bills now have a lot of ugly fans and they do not like what they are seeing.... It is really bad......
  7. It is hard to imagine that the Bills could play so badly........ Maybe it is time for the Front Office to make several changes before the season starts....... Like picking up some of the Pittsburgh cuts ....... Like getting a new head coach in ASAP........ Forget about the playoffs....... Try to win a game, or look decent offensively or defensively for a change........ Right now we look like we are going to be competing for next years 1st round draft pick... It has been many, many years since the Bills have looked this bad even for a preseason game... They litteraly showed nothing throughout the game.......... They have been out coached and out everything so far in preseason........ another wasted year in the forcast... They are giving the Bills fans many warning signs of what is to come in regulation....... it ain't good guys
  8. Defensively... I hope to see Maybin, Bryan & Ellis have a really good game. I would like to see those younger DEs show that they belong on the team and not get cut. I would like to see the DTs push the defense back into the QB for a change... I would like to see just one of the rookie Line Backers step up and show he is the man to stay on the team... I would like to see McKelvin not get burned, but to be a aggressive CB and start showing us all this talent he is supossed to have..... I would love to see Byrd show us why he was drafted by the Bills. I do believe he will be a stellar pick for them at FS. I hope the Bills do not get picked apart via the air and the run. Then the Bills coaches tell us they did not game plan for that..... OUCH Offensively...I hope Edwards looks like a starting QB who takes charge and is consistant throught out the game. I would like to finally see some holes and running lanes for the runners to run through I would like to see some good screens, pulls by the O-line on sweeps...... I would like to see good pass blocking...... I would like to see a good game.........for a change and not have to turn it off half way through it. It has been pretty bad so far watching them this preseason...... I thought they could have played better than they have so far. It does not matter if they win or not... It is how they play the game right now. So far it has not been pretty at all. If they play in the season like they way they have played in preseason......good bye Coach Jauron.....His head will roll.
  9. With the Question if Bell should be starting is a good thing in my opinion. This means the coaches feel he has come a long way fast. This gives them more flexibility along the O-line. Biggest problem is, all that inexperience, for all of them, including Walker at left tackle. I feel the talent is there, but lets face it, they have to learn to work together and that really does take time. They need to be coached well. Taught in the class room. Everyone one of them has a very high IQ and the talent to match. BUT NO experience working together and remember it requires a lot of team work to make it all work. It will come, but most likely very slowly... It is up to the coaches and especially Edwards to get us through this. Edwards has to step up to move the chains. He has the receivers and runners...... Turk hopefully helps Edwards out...... I am affraid there will be a lot of grunts and groans this year for us fans......I am just hoping they do not stink and instead give us a good showing .... That is all I really expect ....
  10. This preseason game is going to tell us a lot more about the Bills than any other. Hopefully we have seen the worse. Can the starters get much worse than what we have seen? It has been pretty bad so far this preseason. I can not wait till the Bills are at full strength with T.O. , Maybin and Byrd all starting ... Maybe the losing will stop. I am tired of all the excuses by the coaches. So far they have been totally out coached... The team lacks aggressiveness ... They are in no way cohesive on offense of defense...They seem to be to laid back like their head coach. The coaches have to remember... this could be their last year .... This Sunday we should find out if the most important player on the team can step up.... if not, we are in for one very long losing season again......Go Bills ...
  11. I could only listen to the game over the internet.... I got sick listening to it. I could only stand the first half. Again the Bills were totally unprepared ....... Why? It is the coaches job to prepare the players and they were not. The Bills do have good talent this year. But when the coaches can not prepare them, especially into the 3rd pre season game why? No way were they ready for the on slaut Green Bay gave them. Our offensive linemen had no idea who to block. The O-line was unprepared... Why? The talent is there. We expect mistakes but not like this. They stunk. The defense was manhandled in the first half. Green Bay could have really run the score up big time in this game. WHY? It looked like the defense was helpless. Goes back to the coaching again...... A lot of bloggers were dismayed when Jauron was rehired..... Many more people are now saying the same thing. He may be a great organizer and the players love him for his easy camps, but lets face it, he is no game day coach and his record proves it. His job is more on the line then ever before. No way can a Bills fan except what we saw Saturday night and justify that game... The Bills stunk... There is NO fire in their Bellies..... NO desire to win......... All goes back to the coaching...... They should be entirely embarrassed as a team ...... Can't wait till T.O. mouths off and tells it the way it is and you know he will Tweeter his heart out... He has his guaranteed money of 6.5 million.....
  12. Could Youth be served this year ? Could the Bills keep DE Copeland Byran and DE Chris Ellis as the two backups to Kelsay and Schobel??? ... Both Byran & Ellis are playing well right now. If they continue to do so, I can see the Bills keeping both players... Maybin will not be ready, if he continues to hold out. I see the Bills having 25 players on defense. 10 in the secondary with 6 CBs and 2 SS and 2 FS. I see 4 DTs & 4 DEs. 7 LBs... Ellison, Posluszny, Mitchell, Harris, Thomas, Buggs & Maybin as a DE/LB. It could happen that Denney is odd man out....
  13. I live in Ocala, Florida... I follow the Bills via the Internet and TV.... What I saw Saturday night was a big improvement over the Carolina Game..... All three quarterbacks seemed to have good control in the No-Huddle Offense. The coaches have them playing a steady change of pace, throwing the defense off balance. They were huffing and puffing in the first quarter. Some times the snap took 8 seconds to get off and other times 25 seconds..... They could not subsititue to get fresh players in. If the game were on a hot Sunday afternoon the opponents asses would have been dragging a lot earlier...... We do have great runners with each a little different then the other. I am impressed with Omom Our 4 TEs are a lot better than last season...I impressed with Stupar Our receivers know their jobs and catch...(Bills need to trade Parish for a 3rd round pick) They are loaded at WR (next years draft is loaded with overall talent) a extra pick is very important Our offensive line showed improvement...I love the 3 Commandos of Levitre, Hangartner, and Woods as starters I would have included Bell but he does not start...... The O-line did not pull much Saturday. All the running yards seemed to have come between the tackles. When the Commandos start to pull they will be even better. They have what is needed to be great. It will open up the offense even more......The talent is there.......They will be impressive soon than later.. If this unit excels the Bills can make the play offs after all. The Defense and special teams are already good enough to make the playoffs...... The coaches seem to be a lot better too...... So far I am impressed with the team. It will be a exciting club to watch this year........ I gots me Pop Corn Ready.... too
  14. or will they come out to play with some fire in their bellies? Will the Offensive Line open some holes so our runners can average better than 3 yards per carry? Can our Defensive Line get some pressures and or sacks for a change? It All starts up front....... What our lines do, will determine our future... They have to hold their end up..... What I have not seen is a aggressive, hard hitting club. They play too soft in practice and when it comes to game time, guess what. They play the way they practice. Maybe those fights will get them going in a real game ...(preseason) I am hoping the large crowd can get their dander up and we see some exciting line play on both sides of the ball. Go Bills .........
  15. We are seeing a lot of write ups on many of the Bills players and yet to date nothing really on Demetrius Bell. Last I heard he has moved his weight from 305 to around 315 to 320. He was weak a year ago and Schobel took him to school. Bell learned fast but he could not stop Schobels Bull rush. This year I hear he is strong as a horse. The talent is there for him to be very good at Left tackle. Great feet for a big man. His inexperience is his biggest weakness right now. I would love to see a writer talk about him like they do with the other players. I believe Bell may be the biggest sleeper on the team right now. He also may be one of the reasons the F.O. never picked in the draft or free agency a L.T. They may already have a pretty good back up on the team now in Bell. Time will tell..... Can't wait for the exhibition games... can you?
  16. When the clerk asked the guy in front of me, "Paper or Plastic", he told her, it does not mater to me for I am bi-sacktual.
  17. When the Bills drafted McKelvin they expected him to be one of the best CBs playing eventually. He has the size, speed and over all talent to be a shut down CB. But is he ready yet to explode this season to be one? If he is, it will make the Bills secondary extremely strong. Shutting down a opponents best receiver gives the Bills a big advantage defensive wise. But again is this the year he can develope to be the player he was drafted to be? A Shutdown CB.
  18. Marshawn Lynch has a good chance of getting his sentence reduced to one game from three. Goodell will look at what Lynch has been doing to compensate for his misbehavior. If Lynch spends time volunteering, stays out of bars late at night and can show he is changing his behavior, he may get his sentence reduced. The odds are good for it. The matter is really in Lynch's hands and I am sure he is being advised as such.
  19. Here are my two players who I expect to have breakout seasons...... QB Trent Edwards on Offense. With the offensive weapons at his disposal and a O-Coordinator whose job is on the line, I expect him to start out on fire this year and stay that way. As long as his offensive line keeps him up right that is. On Defense I expect to see Whitner to be the man....... It would not surprise me to see him play a rover type position ... Whitner reads offensive plays well. As a rover, he can do the unexpected. That would be mostly confusing opposing QBs. With the quality of talent now in the backfield I can see this happening sooner than later. What is a Rover ? A Rover plays anywhere on the field he wants to. QBs never know where he will be and can cause a lot of frustration especially with a player like Whitner causing havoc........Remember, one of his strengths is that he reads opponents play calling very well..... In any event I see those two having great seasons for the Bills this year. There will be others of course. The more the merrier......
  20. Tome Brady is back. New England is at home. They will be on a mission to destroy their opponents this year and they have the team to do it along with the coaching. Do the Bills have a chance to win? Right up to game time they do. Our coaching will make the big difference in this game. We know the N.E. defense is going to try and stymie the Bills offensive line. They will show our O-line a whole new defense that will confuse our guys. They will not know who to block both passing and in the run game. New England has done this before and they will do it again. It is up to our coaches to prepare our line and the receivers have to know what to look for. Then we can tear them apart. But it is up to the coaches in my opinion to have the guys ready. The same goes for the defense. We have the talent. But do we have the coaching to get that first win?
  21. It has to be the Offensive line....... The O-line is making the biggest adjustment. Yes there is better talent on the O-line than last year. Their biggest problem is working together. It will take time. Everyone wants a winner now. Like a chorus line. If one is out of step it will show. It showed last year ..... They were not good. I like the personel this year. Still it is my biggest concern, for it all starts in the trenches.
  22. I believe this post was well thought out, but your going to get some wise remarks from some losers who have no hope.
  23. I believe we do and here is why Brandon, Jauron & Tom Modrak took charge and made big important changes for better or worse. Those three did the draft this year. They made the hard decisions. I think they did a good job with the draft picks they had to work with. Time will tell however. Are the Coaches any better this season over last. They are all coming back. The Big change is that they really do have more talent to work with on offense and defense than last year. Yes this hopefully will make them all look a lot better for some stunk last year and we know who they are. The Offense looks to be a lot better. What were they last season 25th or something like that. This year with T.O., a improved Evans & Johnson, Parish, Reed etc they are looking mighty fine. Even TE or WR Nelson looks good especially in the Red Zone. Edwards really does have some pass receivers this year. A big improvement over last year. Of course he also has three pretty good runners as we all agree upon. That leaves us with the O-line. If there is one place you want stability on your team, it's your offensive line. It takes a while for those guys. It's like a chorus line for if one girl is out of step, it affects the other four. Hopefully they come around fast and work as a team. They sure got the smarts, athletism, size etc. But no experience working together. Like the chorus girls they have to play in step with each other and this really does take time which there is little of as we know. One thing is for sure however. The O-line looks to have a lot more talent on it then last years O-line. Along with a willingness to work together. You just have to love their willingness & aggressiveness. It is a unit that will start slowly but get better each game and we are going to love to watch them play. The Defense was also improved They have new talent at DE, FS, CB, LB & D-line coaching. Huge improvement with the Defensive Line coach over last year. He is going to make one hellva a difference. Perry Fewell has more talent to work with. This unit could be a top 10 defensive unit this season especially if the Offense improves like we know it will. The Special Teams were Number 1 last year. With Coach April back it will again be number #1. Book it. The Bills were 7 and 9 last year. A lucky 7 and 9 if you ask me. When Edwards went down in the Arizona game with a concussion our season was over. Losman stunk and the season went totally down hill. Not this coming season however. Bills could go 10 & 6 if the O-line jells quickly and our offensive coordinator does not stink it all up. We need much better play calling this season. The talent is there. Our coaches must do a better job this year or we will be looking at some new ones next year....... I do not want that..... That's why I believe the Bills are better off now then they were at the end of the 2008 season.... GO BILLS.....
  24. CB Ellis Lankster was the Bills 220th over all pick. He has done in the OTAs enough for him to be tried out on the first team unit .... The coaches have liked what they have seen. If he keeps improving is it possible he could make the 53 man roster? If so, who in the secondary would he replace? Then again remember he can return punts and be a good special team player. But he would need to replace someone else. But who? If he makes the team.
