  1. Is it still possible the Bills could trade a WR? With T.O., Evans, Reed, Parish, Johnson, Jenkins, Hardy currently on the roster with TE Nelson playing more like a WR then a TE could the Bills trade one or more away for future draft picks or a player? It would not shock me if it happened. Even Jackson could be used as a WR with his skill sets being on the field at the same time with Lynch. The question is, who would the Bills let go in a trade somewhere in the near future? What what would they expect back in return for a Win/Win situation?
  2. Here is Why If the Bills can split the 6 games they play with their rivals in their division it will make a huge difference getting into the playoffs. I believe they have a chance of getting at least 3 wins out of the 6. That is a whole lot better than last year when they lost all 6 games. I like our offense better than last year. Edwards will have a great year. If the line protects better than last year he will be on fire. He now has the receivers and I believe the play calling will vastly improve along with it. We will see aggressive play calling in the air and on the ground. You know we have the runners... Our new offensive linemen are smart, athletic and fast learners. They will play with attitude not seen on last years team. The Defense will also improve Our guys are a year older and more experienced. The Defense has more talent. They will get better and because the offense is going to be better the "D" will not be on the field as long. Special Teams are the Best and will get better. The talent and coaching is there. There are a lot of reasons to like this club over last years team..... Then again you can always take the negative view on just about everything......I have said... You can be a downer for that is what you enjoy. I would love to see a more positive view point of this team on this board........ Giving reasons why this team will excel over last years team. I would much perfer to be upbeat over this club going into the new season then be so discouraged as many on this board are...... I feel sorry for you.......as a Bills fan......
  3. I say it is all up to "da Turk" Our offensive coordinator will be responsible making those decisions as to who Edwards will be handing the ball off to the most when passing or running the ball. Turk has to make the offense click this year if the Bills are going to make the playoffs. I believe the defense and special teams have the players and coaching to get us there. Fortunately, "Turk" has much better talent when throwing and running the ball than last year. The Bills are solid with receivers and runners. A lot of attention must be made to the O-line for it is the O-line that really makes everything work. Yes he has the talent, smarts and athletism up front. What he does not have working for him is experience of working together and that is really important. If they do not do their jobs, it means it will affect the play of our receivers, and runners to a great deal. How can Lynch and Jackson improve the run game if the holes do not open. Good planning is needed and that is where coaching comes in. The same goes for the passing game. We have very good receivers, but if the O-line does not pass block well what good are good receivers? We will soon find out how good our coaches are especially when talking about the O-line. Remember we have the talent up front. The coaching better be really good. I was not happy at all with the coaching of the defensive line last year. From what I have heard neither were the players. That has changed and our new defensive line coach is already making improvements in the play of Kelsay and McCargo. They love this guy. He is a winner. I am sure he will do well handling Maybin and the younger linemen. Coaching has a big role on the sucess of this team. From the top all the way down. They have a lot to prove this season.
  4. Thinking Positively The Special Teams were number 1 last year. They could be # one again this coming season..... They have a great special team coach and he has the players to repeat if not even get better. The Defensive line looks to improve with a returning Schobel, the #1 pass rusher coming in from college, a much better defensive line coach, McCargo is now healthy and Kelsay looks to improve. The D-line will be better. The linebackers look pretty good also. Posluszny looks to improve along with Mitchell. The depth is better than last year. The Cornerbacks look to be very strong especially if McKelvin shows he can be a shut down CB. I like their depth. The safeties with the addition of Byrd and the versilitity of Whitner look to be winners. Scott is improving. The overall defense rated 15th last year has a chance to improve to 10th to 12th best in the league. Their talent on defense has improved and they are now much improved depth wise with young talent. Both the special teams and Defense are good enough to get the Bills into the playoffs in my opinion. The Offense is still a big question mark ......... If Edwards has a solid year, especially over last year when he got a concussion, the Offense could be stellar. The front office has done a nice job building a team around him so far. There are still question marks however. The Receivers are solid and a strong point ...... The Runners are solid and a strong point....... That leaves the O-line... The big Question mark on this team. How well this unit developes will determine if they can get in the playoffs.... I think they will immediately be better plass blockers than last year. I think they will develope slowly into a good run blocking unit. Not at first however. It takes time but the talent is there. They are smart for sure. Athletic for sure. Good depth ... Experience is lacking however as a unit. Usually it takes 3 years to develope into a solid unit. We want them to be this way right away. It won't happen. Pulling guards and tackles will make mistakes blocking. Confusion as to who to block when plass blocking will happen, the defense will throw everything they can at them to confuse them. This unit is young and not experienced playing together. It won't be easy. But as I said, the smarts and athleticism is there. It will just take time. They will learn slowly by their mistakes and the fans will have to be excepting of this fact. I believe the team will be exciting and come close to making the playoffs again this year. Remember they lost 6 games to their division rivals last year. That has to turn around . Lets hope they can do it. Of course others have their views of what to expect. I just wanted to take a positive view. Especially this time of the year.
  5. I say Yes it Will It will be rough going for a while especially in run blocking. Defenses will throw at the Bills different formations trying to confuse our O-linemen. I expect to see a lot of this against New England. Our guys won't know who to block for they will not have been taught what to do. I heard that last year when we played the Cardinals. Our guys did not know what to do on both sides of the ball. That games was a disaster and I expect the first game to be that way also. Getting back to the question if this offensive line is better than last years and will it get better I still say yes. I like the make up of the players and the depth. It will just take time before they can excel is all. I think they will get better as the season progresses but this unit will not be playoff caliber till they learn to play together. That takes time no matter how good each player is. It is a Team sport and they have to learn to play together.
  6. If the Bills carry 5 CBs and 5 safties as they did last year are they going to be better than last year? McGee really is solid at one CB position. McKelvin has the capability or will have of being a shut down corner. I do not think he is there yet. Youboty, Florence & Corner are all strong defenders at CB. The Safeties look stronger with the addition of Byrd. Bills would not have picked him in the 2nd round if they did not think so and he most likely will be good once he gets his feet wet. Whitner is very versitile being able to play FS, SS and Corner. He can also play the nickel D. Scott is coming on strong. Wendling is great on Special teams and Simpson or Wilson will round out the secondary. What I like about this years Secondary is its versitility... Eventually Scott and Byrd could be our safeties. McGee is a solid pick for one CB position. Whitner, Florence and McKelvin are all good cornerback with Youboty and Corner who is coming on strong in OTAs looking good at the Nickel... I believe with the improvement of the Defensive Line, it will help make this secondary unit better than last season. Do You?
  7. Here is my 46 man Bills Roster for the 1st game this season: 2-QBs... Edwards......Should have a better year this year than last. His concusion really set him back last season Fitzpatrick...He will be a much better QB than Losman. Losman was a complete disaster last season 3-RBs... Lynch, Jackson & Rhoads will be teriffic for us this season. They will have holes and lanes to run through this year. 1-FB.... McIntyre ....Hopefully he will be better opening holes so the RBs can get into the secodary of the defense. 3-TEs... Fine, Schouman, Nelson. This is a much better trio than last year.Royal was a bust, for he dropped to many passes 7-OL.... Walker, Levitre, Hangardner, Woods, Butler, Chandler, McKinney...Walker will be better than what Peters played last year, Levitre will be better than what we got from Dockery, Hangardner is hands down better than Preston and Fowler put together, Woods will be a warrior at RG and Butler hopefully can play as good as Walker did at RT last season. I think he will. Chandler and McKenney are both capable back ups and are better than what we has last year. 5-WRs.. Owens, Evans, Reed, Parish, Johnson...Edwards has great targets to throw to this season...Lots of depth in addition 21 Players on Offense of the 46 players allowed 7-DL.... Maybin, Schobel, Kelsay, Denney, Stroud, Williams, McCargo .... This group is much improved over last season Maybin gives them the pass rush on one side and Schobel on the other side on passing plays. Stroud, Williams & a improved McCargo give them the pressure up the middle Kelsay and Denney will be a one two punch in subing keeping the DEs fresh 5-LBs... Ellison, Posluszny, Mitchell, DiGiorgio, Thomas ... Good flexibility here with experience and talent 5-CBs... McGee, McKelvin, Youboty, Florence, Corner ... If McKelvin developes into a shut down corner the whole secondary will be off the wall good. Covering a #1 receiver by himself gives the others more options to play defense and cover other receivers. McKelvin hopefully shows this season he can do it like he was doing it at the end of last season. This is a strong unit if they stay healthy and McKelvin really improves. You gotta like Corner 5-DBs.. Whitner and Scott are two good strong safties. Byrd and Wilson will be good at Free Safety. I like Wendling as mostly a Special Team Player. He is another great special team player in the making a la Tasker. 22 Defensive Players 3-ST... PK...Lindell P...Moorman and LS Neil Total of 46 active starters I am basing these 46 players on reports from OTAs and interviews.... The other 7 men to make up the 53 man roster are: (in my opinion) QB Hamdan WR Hardy WR Jenkins OT Bell DT Johnson LB Harris LB Bowen Cutting in my opinion... FS Simpson DE Ellis RB Oman DE Bryan LB Corto LB Buggs CB Fox
  8. I have not been around long enough to know if the Bills have the same kind of talent they had years ago when Jim Kelly ran the K-Gun, no huddle offense. My question is will it work this time around? What makes the Bills offensive coordinator believe it will? We have a 3rd year quarterback who still has not proven himself to many of the fans. We have a whole new starting offensive line with unproven depth. We have a 4th round, 7th round and now another 4th rounder TE and none is known for their great blocking or streaching the field abilities. We have some damn good WRs this season...... Forturately we have three pretty good runners.... but what has that to do with the K-gun... I dunno... I wish someone could tell me if they think it will work like it did years ago... and god did it work for the Bills years ago. They tore up the league. Scored points like a machine gun spitting bullets......Had defenses laying on the ground. Could it happen again with the crew the Bills will now have on offense this coming season ? again... I dunno
  9. To get the Bills in the Playoffs this coming season? Special Teams Coach April is: He will have a S.T. Unit that is tops in the league like he did last year. Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell had the 14th best defensive Unit over all in the league last year and with the improvements on the D-line and secondary along with injured vets returning, I believe the Defensive team will be 10th to 12th best. The Bills offense was 25th last year. Edwards had a rough year after his concusion. Evans got double and tripled covered when Reed went down. Royal and Hardy were busts last year. His offensive line was a bust with Peters, Dockery, Preston and Fowler stinking it up. Lynch and Jackson were a force by themselves. Turk was calling plays the announcers on TV were calling before the plays even began. The offense was a mess. The front office has made big changes improving the receiver corp. The offensive line has to be better than last years. Our runners are back and we have a qb who should be coming into his prime. And we have T.O. He is a winner like it or not. He will add the spark needed to this offense. He will get our other leaders going and inspire them. This I am sure of. My problem with this team is with the coaching. If they dont have a good showing by the bye I expect to see Coach April stepping in for the rest of the year as the head coach. The fans will not except the Bills if they go on a uninspired losing streak and I am sure T.O. will be heard from if that happens. Having said that, I do not expect it to happen. Everyone knows there is too much on the line this season. A lot depends on how well this team competes. On paper this team is not all that bad. They just need to put it all together and that is the responsibility of the coaches. There is good enough talent on both the Offense and Defense side of the ball. Edwards now has targets and a good running attack. Can they call the plays that will work? The defense now has a improved pass rush with Maybin and Schobel along with a improved Kelsay. The middle of the defensive line has a improved McCargo to go with Stroud, Williams and Johnson. Looking good. Even the secondary at CB and Safety positions looks better. Can Perry Fewell improve on the D ? My question is, are the Coaches good enough to turn this club around and make them winners even in their own league? The were 0 and 6 last year against Miami, New England and the New York Jets..... That stinks......
  10. The first game is going to open everyones eyes. Especially the offensive line. N.E. is going to show the Bills different defensive formations they have not seen before. I believe the Pats Defense is going to stymie the Bills no huddle offense. We are up against a great coach. The Bills defense needs to be at the top of their game or we could see a New England blow out against the Bills.... Our coaches better have our guys well prepared for the unexpected. It could demoralize this club and set T.O off. If the Bills get out coached, he will let everyone know it. Yes this is a important game win or lose. It is all about how we play the game that will count the most. This is especially true for the coaches for they are really on the hot seat going into this season... The front office has done a respectable job during the off season.
  11. After looking over the Bills from top to bottom, I believe the Bills biggest weakness is the Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator. The front office did a pretty good job in free agency working within the cap. The draft, I believe was pretty damn good. It is a pity things did not work out better with Peters, but I really question if it ever would, for he wanted out. He did not believe he was treated fairly. The Bills came out of it pretty good. The Bills are going into next season with a special teams unit ranked last year as #1... Coach April would make a great head coach. Put that in your memory bank if things go sour this year especially around the bye... The defense was ranked 14th best and with the changes made in the front office and players retuning from injury the defense should improve to around 10th to 12th best over all. The offensive line last year stunk. Few holes and lanes were opened to Lynch and Jackson. They seem to get most of the yardage on the ground by themselves. The line is better with better talent but oh my god the growing pains. It will take a few weeks for them to gell. But the talent is there where it was not last year. We have a improved receiving corp with strong runners and a very youthfull O-Line. Can Edwards and Turk make it work? Won't know till they try. Brings us to the weakest part of the team where there were no improvements made last year.... god help us I hope they improve. Can they make the playoffs........??? Don't know.... Will they be a exciting team to watch...??? Hell Yes... I don't want to miss a game, but I will bring my crying towel with me when I am watching... I will share if you are sitting next to me.
  12. On paper this team is vastly improved over last years team. Special Teams was #1 last year. It will be on top again or close to it. Defense Was 14th last year... Now with a improved pass rush, a new quality FS in Byrd, McCargo looking like a 1st round pick I believe the Bills can improve to 10th or 12 best in the league. Offensively the Bills improved by subtraction. Gone are Losman, Peters, Dockery, Fowler, Preston and Royal to name a few. The front office replaced them with better talent and willingness to win... The offense with T.O adding spark and talent will be better. On paper we still have the fumbling, bumbling, coaches who they themselves lost games for the Bills last year. Turk called plays the announcers called before the ball was snaped...... that's ugly Perry did not have the Bills defense ready for the Cardinals game last year. The players told the media they were not ready for that offense... Blame goes to the defensive coaches Then there is the head coach who everyone loves and admires but the fans. He is a great organizer and can run a club from top to bottom except on game days when he screws up over and over with the clock and substitutions. He does not take charge when things go wrong. It would be better if he were a stronger on field coach during games. On paper this team still looks like the 4th best team in the division with the same old coaches not improving...
  13. The Bills made their decision right or wrong. Only time will tell. It is way to early to second guess them. The Bills desperately needed a outstanding pass rusher and I believe they got one in Maybin. They spent a lot of time and money making that pick. They had others they could have chosen, but Maybin was their man and so be it. I personally think they have a winner, but there will be doubters till he gets to play some. Oher would have been a good pick but always compared to Peters for years to come. The Bills took that equastion out of the picture. I like what they did in free agency and the draft. Could they have done better... who knows for sure. Brandon, Modrak and Jauron called the shots this year with Mr. Wilson out of the picture because of the health of his daughter. I think so far so good with all the changes. I still do not think we will make the playoffs however because we still have ALL the same coaches... Hopefully I am wrong...
  14. Hi Tim, You have talked about the Bills using the K-Gun offense. Can you explain it in detail? It seems many people approve of this move, but how will it be implimented and what can we look for when used?
  15. When he leaves for Florida do not be surprised to see him move the company there as well to save even more money. Lots of cheap homes now in Florida for his workers. Many of them would love to live there all year long, get the same money and pay NO State taxes..... It would be a raise and they would get to see the sun all year long and guess what... NO SNOW ........
  16. This is a very early prediction for the 53 man roster as of right now.....If we add a new player then some one gets cut. 3 QBs........ Edwards, Fitzpatrick and Hamdan 3 RBs........ Lynch, Jackson, Rhoads 1 FB ........ McIntyte 6 WRs........ Owens, Evans, Parish, Johnson, Hardy, Reed, (Jenkins stays if Parish is traded) 3 TEs ........ Nelson, Fine, Schouman 8 OL ......... Walker, Levitre, Hangartner, Wood, Butler, Chambers, McKinney, D. Bell 9 DL.......... Maybin, Stroud, Williams, Schobel, Kelsay, Denney, Johnson, McCargo, Ellis (Kelsay could get traded or cut) 7 LB.......... Ellison, Posluszny, Mitchell, DiGiorgio, Harris, Thomas, (Constanza / Bowens) 5 CB........ McGee, McKelvin, Youbody, Florence, Corner 3 SS ....... Whitner, Scott, Wendling 2 FS ....... Byrd, Wilson (K. Simpson gets cut) 1 P......... Moorman 1 PK ...... Lyndell 1 LS ...... Neill Same old coaches who need to improve....... They were really bad last year... Front Office has provided new talent in free agency and the draft, keeping well under the salary cap... There is room for more free agents if they become available. Biggest sleeper in the group is D. Bell Player who will improve the most is McCargo.... he is healthy now and has a much improved demeanor. Position most improved...Backup QB... Losman was a complete loser. Anyone taking his place is a winner just walking on the field in my book. Player who still has a lot to prove.....McKelvin... Bills got him to be a shut down corner. He has the talent. Surprise player in the draft. Byrd... He is another field general at FS and will team up nicely with SS Whitner. Bills got lucky drafting him. He is a winner. A star with lots of promise once he gains experience...... Nelson Biggest flop by the end of the season...T.O. Lots of hype, but we can see he lost it Player with the biggest heart and team leader...Edwards Now he has targets and a better O-line. He will take charge Biggest worry...Lynch...we will be wondering when he will screw up again, all season long. It will mean a full year suspension with one more screw up ...... ouch If the team flops, which it should'nt.... Fans will want Coach April as the new Head Coach... He is a winner in everyone's book... Players love him..... Those are my opinions as of right now...... I do have the option to make changes till the first game of the season...lol
  17. After looking over the talent on this years team here is what I came up with. Special Teams with Coach April, will again be a top Special Teams Unit. He is a great coach. The Defense has improved, especially the D-line with the addition of Maybin, the return of Schobel and a healthy McCargo. Bills will have a improved pass rush and a upgrade at safety. The Defense will get better. The Defense looks to be a top 10 to 12 team over all in the NFL.... It is the offense that is still questionable. They scored 21 a game last year and that should improve to hopefully 24 a game. Many improvements have been made with major up grades at WR, TE, RB, QB, and the O-line. T.O has been added to the WR position. Nelson is added to the TE position, Rhoades to the RB position, Fitzpatrick at QB, and of course the entire offensive line will look like new with lots of good new talent. Out with the rotten and in with the new quality players. These new players will surprise a lot of fans. They are winners with big hearts. I like what the F.O. did with the line. The worry some part of the team however is the coaching. They are all coming back..... They more then anything now need to improve over last year. Jauron needs to manage the games better on field... Using the clock is a big weakness with him and substituting. Turk has all the weapons he now needs to be a good Offensive Co-ordinator... It is his play calling that looked very bad last year. When the announcers of a game can call the offensive plays before they are run, you can only imagine that the opposition also knows what the Bills will call next. That's discusting...... Perry Fewell also has all the tools he will now need. He has pass rushers in Maybin, Schobel and Ellis. Good strength up the middle of the D-line with solid linebackers. The secondary has been greatly improved by adding Byrd and McKelvin coming on strong at the end of last season. Now all he has to do is get the players ready. Against the Cardinals last year our defense got torn apart. The players complained after the game they were not prepared. That is the Defensive co-ordinators job. Getting the players prepared for games... Right now I see the weakest part of this years team not on the field but on the side lines... God help us... Go Bills
  18. The Bills will have to move eventually. Why? It started over 30 or more years ago. Loss of business in Western NY thanks to the incompentency of the polliticians. Over taxing for more give a way programs which would help poorer people and also get votes for themselves. They would not cut government costs, so they could keep power positions and govt. jobs. They had opportunities to combine Erie and City Governments to cut costs but did not. Higher taxes was and continues to be their answer. They have stymied grow. Businesses and then people have moved out and continue to do so. People will go where the jobs are. Govt. in this day and age needs to be pro-active. Something Western New Yorkers do not have. But Toronto does and most likely will soon get 100% of the Bills like it or not. Money talks....
  19. I believe we had a terrrible offense last year on many counts. To start with just look at the Offensive line. It was "Offensive". It stunk. Peters played just awful. He wanted out. He wanted a competitive salary for Left Tackles. Other players on the Bills were making a lot more than he was. And I do not believe the spin doctors trying to make us believe he was given a fair shake salary wise. The Bills had Peters between a rock and a hard place and they kept him there so they would not have to pay him twice or more than what he deserved. (Philly paid him what they thought he desirved plus a 1st, 4th and a 6th to get him) Dockery stunk. He was unmoveable. Defensive players went around him because he could not move. He definitely could not pull to block. He was too freakin slow. As for Center. That was a joke. Fowler and Peterson stunk. What a disaster those two were. Butler, when he was not hurt was pretty damn good. Walker was stellar at LT and at RT. He was a solid acquisition. Looking back I can see why the Bills Brass has drasticily changed the Offensive line putting a lot of good talent there finally. Yes the Bills line is a lot better than last year. They are going to have growing pains but guess what. They will open lanes for Lynch and Jackson. Our runners will actually find holes to run through. Not like last year when most of the yardage was obtained by the runners alone. If this new offensive line can pass block, o-boy....With T.O., Evans, Reed, & now Nelson as starting receivers wow. Then you have Lynch and Jackson coming out of the backfield as safety valves....dynamite....... Yeah I like the offense a lot better than last year. It will be much more exciting. They have real talent on the team now and guys who want to play. Big change from last year. I have not even talked about the draft picks which look damn good really. The Bills did really well in this years draft. Over all I see a better running attack and with the addition of T.O. and Nelson along with the improvement of the other receivers I see a big improvement. Then there is Edwards..... He was great the first 5 or 6 games. Then he got stung with a concussion. He probably took one of the hardest hits in his life. He was totally unprotected from that hit. His head bounced off the ground. He came back way to soon. The reason for that is because his backup, Losman was a totally complete disaster for the Bills last year. He was a real loser. So Edwards returned before he was ready. He never found himself till late in the season. He will be completely better this year. He will have a better line in front of him. Now if the Offensive Coordinator improves along with the team, we will have a better club. More on that later....
  20. Yes McCargo got his back fixed and from what I hear he has been working out all winter at One Bills Drive. He is much happier now that the former defensive line coach is now gone. The new defensive line coach and McCargo are getting along very well. It is still to be proven if he can come back strong from surgery. That is what the summer camp is for. Tom Modrak feels that McCargo still has the heart to play. They were not to sure of that last year. But who can play with a huge bump on your spine? The Colts didn't think so when the Bills tried to trade McCargo to them. McCargo could not pass the physical of the Colts so he came back to the Bills where the old defensive line coach threw him in there to play anyway. Finally near the end of the season he had to have a opperation. Time will tell if he is back good enough to play. I think the Bills believe so or they would have drafted a DT or would have been bringing in free agents early on. They still might if they believe McCargo can not come back healthy.
  21. Bills defense should be better than last year. We now have Maybin a pass rusher and Schobel is back. Stroud will play better with a new contract with incentives and McCargo has a new lease on life at DT. Kelsay, Denney and Johnson are all experienced. We will find out if Ellis has the heart to play. He has the ability but ....... The D-line looks to me as if it is stronger than last year. The Linebackers with Ellison, Posluszny and Mitchell are average at best. DiGregorio is back from his injury and is a good backup at all three positions. I do not know about Thomas but he must have some ability for the Bills signed him. We have a couple of rookies from this year and last year along with a couple of special team LBs to choose from. This crew is just average at best. They have their good games and bad. At least the D-line looks to be stronger so the LB's may also look good. The CB's could be great with McGee and McKelvin starting. McKelvin stunk in the beginning of the season last year. He got better with experience and showed great flashes of talent. He needs to keep improving and be the shut down CB he was drafted to be. Good depth with Youboty, Florence and Corner. All players with talent. The Safeties look to be better this season. With a healthy Whitner at SS and Bryd at Free safety the starters look to be strong and you have to like Scott as a back up at SS. Wilson is a fair FS but excellent on special teams... That leaves Wendling, because he is really good on special teams... Over all I see the Defense improving to maybe 10th to 12th best. Special teams will again be right on top of the heap with Coach April leading the charge. He would make a great head coach if given the chance. Last year he lost a lot of special talent. The front office brought in several young players to replace them. This kept the salary cap down. Special Teams started slowly as you will remember but again finished as one of the best or the best in the league. I do not have the final standings. Maybe some one has the site for verification. The Bills Special Teams and the Defense should improve.
  22. I like what I see about the Bills much better. Do I think they will make the playoffs...no Not unless they get a really good OLB in free agency which appears there may be a couple of them still out there. Still to be seen however, if the Bills are interested. I like what they did in just one draft to help make the offense better. They have new talented players on the O-line. Brought in T.O. to upgrade the receivers. Acquired TE Nelson to give them a deep and short range big target for Edwards to find. The running attack looks pretty good. Now if Edwards starts to show his true talents this year, we are off and running offensively. That is if our co-ordinator takes advantage of all the new offensive weapons. The O-line should actually open holes and lanes for Lynch and friends to run through, which is a big difference from last year. Last year, the O-line stunk. They got rid of last years losers on the O-line. I like the D-line with the addition of Maybin and Schobel coming back. Stroud got a new contract, and McCargo finally looks to be healthy and still has a love for football, with the Bills, and his new defensive line coach loves him. Not like last years defensive line coach. I really would still like to see a upgrade at OLB, especially if the Bills are truely wanting to make the playoffs. Keeping my fingers crossed on that. The secondary looks solid and I really like the pickup of Byrd. He is a sleeper pick who looks to be a winner. If McKelvin shows he can be a shut down CB, the seconday will be vastly improved. He started to show signs of his great physical talent at the end of last season. I hope he can keep it up. Then there is the special teams. As long as Coach April is in charge...no wories. They will be right at the top again next season. He is one hell of a coach and if the Bills ever let coach Jauron go... please let Coach April be put in charge... All the players really like this guy and he is a proven winner. He just needs his chance to prove it in my opinion... Gotta love dem Bills ......... This is the time of the year for hope...
  23. Total Grade for the Bills: B - We filled alot of needs and concerns & look to have turned a corner on our lines. Go Bills. I like your grades. You are right on target. Please do not be to harsh on Maybin, yet. What I liked hearing from the coaches and Posluszny was that this kid has a real love for football. Great heart. This will drive him to get better and better. Good work ethic. I think we got a winner in him, but only time will tell. I believe the Bills did a really good job in this years draft and set themselves up well for next year. The biggest disappointment I have so far is that the front office did not improve the coaching staff. It remains Stagnant ouch...
  24. You forgot to take your meds again didn't you.......
