I don't know, the Colts seem pretty bad now, but Manning always seems to have good numbers. All I said was wait and get a larger sample, I don't think that's unreasonable. It was given as an option in the poll. Sounds a lot like what was said about Edwards before his head got rattled. What's wrong with getting a half season under his belt? If he keeps it up all that will happen is the Bills will have to pay him, maybe more than they could today.

I love what he's doing and I think he has taken great strides in working with his team mates and getting better. I think he has the capability to be a long term answer. He has not done it over a long period though. Until this season he had average numbers. I realize he threw for 3000 yards, but I don't believe that means what it used to. Teams give someone 2-3 years to fail, let's give him time to succeed. If he continues on the path he is on, by all means I lock him up long term and use my draft elsewhere. That's why I voted to wait to decide.

Exactly. They play well as underdogs, whether a mental thing or on the scoreboard. Now they will most likey be favored. Let's hope they don't take the Bengals too lightly. Hopefully the toughness and grit stays intact. It's always been a staple of good teams- Beat the teams you are supposed to beat.

I was thinking the same thing. They need a bit of playing time together to mesh. If not this year, next year they can be tough. Although I'm still not sold on their qb. That being said, I really hope we can run the ball all over the Jets like the Raiders did today. They are the ones I'm tired of hearing about. Seems that every promo, every commercial, whatever has Jets in it.

None of these former players are neutral anymore, but at least some do disguise it and are able to say something positive about another team. These former Pats though are something different. Neither Bruschi or Harrison can come up with anything bad about Pats or good about their opponents. It's quite pathetic. I was actually surprised at Harrison's reaction in that segment. Pathetic.

Hard to decide. Wilson's was great, extremely athletic. You always have to like a pick 6 too, as in Florence's case. I had to vote for Scott's though. It was a great interception, took some nice coordination and athleticism.

Now they need to pay all these that you mentioned and stop looking for a way out.

I would still say we got the better end of that. That's not hating an ex Bill, it's liking the current one better. Poz should be due for a broken arm or something soon anyway, especially if he were to play 100% of the plays.

No doubt. They will say the Chiefs can be beat by a high school team and Raiders aren't as good as thought. All of a sudden the Bills will be what they were supposed to be. Even if the game is close. There are a few on that list ahead of the Bills that I would have lower. I'm not being unrealistic and saying the Bills should be at the top, but Bears, Bucs, Cowboys I can see moving under us.

Not to defend Brady, even though the only fault I really find with him is that he has been pretty darn good in his career against us, and everyone for that matter, but... doesn't it seem like there are an awful lot of "injuries" when the other team gets rolling. It's kind of a hard thing to prove, whether the person has a cramp or not. I don't blame these offenses for getting upset when someone almost always goes down at an inopportune time. Doesn't seem to matter if it's pro or college, the number of injuries against a fast paced offense seems higher, especially the injuries that spend one play on the sideline and comes right back in. I think it shows just how one sided this "rivalry" is. Do you think Pats fans would storm the field after beating us? Judging from the years of abuse, no. I think this is still a proud franchise we root for and part of that is that we as fans act as though we have been here before. Ask any number of players around the league, Buffalo is known for great fans. I don't think storming the field is an indication of that.

I would just like to say, new coach, new season, this is our year! (Wolfpack fan here) I agree though. I am a Wolfpack fan and really don't consider them to have a main rival. Sure, it's nice to beat Carolina or Duke (or even stay close in a game), but it's been so long since being competitive that they aren't rivals. I would love for it to happen again, but it's going to take time. That being said, the Bills are the same. Without being competitive they have no real rival. The Dolphins haven't been good either, so that has gone by the wayside. I would say I get the most pleasure from a possible Pats beat down. That's not because they are our rival, but because we haven't done it in sooooo long.

As someone that watched a lot of Spiller throughout his collegiate career (as he ran, received, and returned all over my Wolfpack), I like him on the team. The main problem I see with him is that he doesn't run north/south but rather east/west. If you watch Fred, as we all know, he goes where the hole is and gets yards after being hit. CJ sees a hole being minimized and bounces outside, but doesn't really have the skill set or size yet to do so proficiently. All that being said, he has an excellent learning source in front of him on the depth chart if he so chooses. I believe he will learn from Fred and become a nice piece of the team. He may not turn into a featured back, but will be a nice piece.

I understand the love for Luck, really I do. All the pundits love him and everyone for that matter. He seems good. Looks the part. Their will be others available though. Doesn't anyone else like someone like Kellen Moore? The kid wins and plays smart too, just like Luck. I don't get into the really, really early projections, but it would seem that Moore should be running fairly close behind Luck. If not Moore, someone else. It can't just be a Luck or bust season for all these teams is it?

I have had the same thoughts, though not about trading for Tebow. I don't think Fitz is the guy for the whole season. I think it will be Thigpen, then eventually Smith being given a chance (if a trade for someone like Dennis Dixon isn't made).

Exactly. I imagine he will make the team though, just as a reclamation project. Ryan's ego about his defensive skills will make him keep Maybin around, thinking he can do what the Bills couldn't. Of course, that's just better for the Bills and the rest of the league.

I agree completely. Like I said, I appreciate that they are trying and don't want their career to suffer because of this lockout. It's commendable.
