  1. I don't really care about what the media thinks, says, or analyzes about this team. And I think it's a waste of time for everyone to be excited that we were getting respect from the media up until Sunday. Even if we beat San Diego and the media jumps back on the bandwagon, it doesn't make a difference who said it, or on what network.
  2. It was a good team, we should have won, I think we're the better and tougher team, just mentally weren't in it yesterday. Not sure if that was because the team was down because Edwards is hurt, but I was hoping that would light a fire underneath them to hit Warner more like that one hit to the chin he took. But a loss may help them regain focus and regain attitude. A big homecoming against San Diego in 2 weeks, time to make a statement.
  3. Call me crazy, but I feel the Bills just didn't come out motivated yesterday. I believe the Bills were the better team and will keep believing that unless they lose the next 3 games. We've played tough teams, we beat Jacksonville. Oakland, even though winless, is a tough and physical team. Whatever motivation they had coming in the game I think wiped out when Edwards went down. And the way his head ricocheted on the turf I figured it would be a concussion. But the rest of the team should have been motivated to play tougher football after that. I remember Edwards during the Oakland game in the 4th quarter, being knocked down hard, goes to the sidelines, sits to recollect his thoughts for a second, gets up and marches up and down the bench yelling at teammates and getting them fired up before going out and winning the game. That type of leadership and vocality is needed more in this team. I expected Whitner to fulfill that void when Edwards went down. It seems at times we're motivated to play 'balls out' football and the offensive line and defense do great jobs, and then other times we just look like we're going through the motions with less attitude. We need more attitude from more players.
  4. I forgot to mention that the $1,500 worth of merchandise was all nutritional supplements. Apparently he had been stealing them and re-selling them to his gym buddies. Obviously he hasn't heard of steroids yet...
  5. I was getting my morning smoothie at Smoothie King and I caught him stealing supplements. He made 2 trips to his car after putting a can of protein under his shirt. I know he had to have seen me staring him down. Anyway, while he was making the trips, I called the police, and they caught him, they came and picked me up to identify him and I got to ride in the police car with the sirens on during rush hour, it was pretty amazing. It was like "Cop and 1/2" but more raw.
  6. I saw him steal, called the cops, AND THEY CAUGHT HIM! Turns out the guy had $1,500 worth of stolen merchandise in his car, a suspended driver's license, outdated traffic violation from a year ago, and a shoplifting misdemeanor. Also, was driving a really nice Jaguar, but he went to jail so it got towed. What a way to start the morning.
  7. My condolences, I didn't realize you were such a Raiders fan...
  8. These will keep you entertained at work! MY FAV!
  9. How motivating it must be for Raider fans when he said "And we will be back, the Raiders will be back.." Like their glory years just happened...
  10. We ran a screen pass in Week 1 a number of times. In Weeks 3 and 4 I can't remember any off the top of my head. Not trying to be Mr. Offensive Genius here but it's a basic play that works really well for us. Why not?
  11. Solomon isn't worse than Chris Collinsworth. Collinsworth is the announcer on Madden 09 worst of all. The one thing Solomon did yesterday that got on my nerves was rode the Rams bandwagon and didn't give the Bills ANY credit whatsoever until we were up 2 touchdowns. At that point he switched bandwagons and started gaga'ing over Buffalo. He was calling it an upset in the 2nd quarter!! I wouldn't have minded if we were 0-3, but we're 3-0, and from the opening kickoff til the start of the 4th quarter he was having a love affair with the Rams.
  12. Like I said, he has good interviews. And I do share the same viewpoint about Rosie O Donnell as him.
  13. Rome has good interviews, but when he goes on his soap box he just repeats the same thing about 20 times. Oh yeah, and he does that honk sound a lot.
  14. IMO either jump on the wagon that works or throw a pity party. I too had hopes for J.P. once upon a time. At some point, you have to cut your losses and move on. If you need someone to talk to, we're here...
  15. Rog and I were fraternity brothers back in the day. And by back in the day, I mean, just a few years ago. We used to spend all day impersonating Dumb and Dumber lines.
  16. it just popped up on my direct memo from Commissioner Goodell. Also said China is getting an NFL team.
  17. With all due respect, I'd rather get to the Super Bowl and win it rather than going 16-0 (i.e. Patriots in 07)
  18. He went to my alma mater. So he and Fred Smoot are representing well I see. WOOO! If another starting lineman gets arrested I may just take the Bills at 10 pts spread.
