  1. Casey is the next best guy. James Casey, Rice Height: 6-4. Weight: 243. Projected 40 Time: 4.66. Combine 40 Time: 4.78. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.79. Benchx225: 28. Vertical: 36. Projected Round (2009): 3-4. 2/22/09: James Casey had the second-best vertical for tight ends at the 2009 NFL Combine with 36 inches. His 40 was slower than expected, however. 2/21/09: James Casey tied Travis Beckum for most bench press reps at the 2009 NFL Combine with 28. 1/5/09: It appears as though Casey, 24, will declare as a true sophomore. He finished the 2008 campaign with 111 receptions, 1,329 yards and 13 touchdowns. 10/26/08: James Casey is having a great sophomore year. He has 67 catches, 803 yards and six touchdowns through just eight games. Because of his age, Casey must declare ASAP despite being just a true sophomore. 7/27/08: Let's see... James Casey had 46 catches for 585 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman despite not registering a single reception until Week 4. He runs a solid 40. So, why is he so low on this list? Well, he turns 25 in September 2009, so there's not much more room for growth.
  2. #121 is 4th round.
  3. That kind of logic tells me you'd take a quarterback if he was the "best overall available" even if we had Peyton Manning and Jay Cutler on our roster. I say this late in the draft, you go with best overall player for your most needed position. There's still more value in a 4th round TE than a 6th round LB. I'd love to see Coffman at 121. He's got great size. Great intensity, tough baller. Scouting Report http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2009ccoffman.php
  4. I think a late 4th round TE can still contribute and hold some potential. Unless you want to just wait til next year?
  5. Jared Cook? Chase Coffman? Travis Beckum? I'd be ecstatic with any of these.
  6. If Maybin puts on 20 lbs he could be a dominant DE.
  7. Let's see what you look like then gorgeous.
  8. I try not to shamelessly plug anything on this board, but Michael Lombardi from NFL Network and the National Football Post is gonna be talking about the Bills tonight live on Bills Fan Radio at 9:05pm ET. We'll be discussing the Peters trade and other possible trades for the Bills, as well as the draft. E-mail your questions to host@billsfanradio.com. Or post them and I'll try to get them on the air. Gracias!
  9. He hasn't heard that, so it's obviously not true.
  10. Peters never asked for a new deal?!?! Wowsers. Guess that holdout was just a long flight layover to Buffalo right?
  11. There's nothing wrong with being a fan and disliking or questioning this move. If we all just cheered for the team and never did anything more, hope would fade fast.
  12. That's what I'm saying, he's being CHARGED with disorderly conduct, but he hasn't been convicted or anything yet. A lot of people just go ahead and plead guilty with similar charges because of the costs and how normal it is. Donte's in an interesting spot because he has the money to really take this to court if he feels and it won't really affect him. Again, in any form, anything that happens doesn't equate him getting bashed the way some numbskull fans are doing.
  13. I think Donte's a little naive in all this, but for the bashing he's taking from fans on facebook, it's uncalled for. All did was get disorderly conduct, but the bashing on his wall, you would think he did some far worse.
  14. Height: 5'8 Weight: 185 Bench: 505lbs Squat: 800lbs 40 time: 4.12 (unofficial) Vertical: 37.4 inches (unofficial) Pros: Hard worker, motivated, leader, understands the game. Shows up early. Aced the Wonderlic. Cons: Missed a practice to go on a date with Megan Fox and Elisha Cuthbert at the same time. Took 20 Bills fans to Las Vegas the day after signing a $30 million contract. Lost $30 million in Las Vegas. Had to live in a treehouse in The Dean's backyard. Diet is a bit out of whack, think Urlacher hits hard? Try putting down a box of krispy kreme or buffalo wings in front of this player... Too flashy, big ego, self-centered. Sue me.
  15. Great way to start out!
  16. This may be a situation where I think the Bills just need to give into him. Give him his money, pack it with lots of incentives, and let's get back to work.
  17. Great interviewer. Says it's likely Peters will remain a Bill. Likely Bills will take best offer for Roscoe before the draft. I think he's one of the hardest working guys for ESPN.
  18. Mike's on Bills Fan Radio next week.
  19. Tim will be on Bills Fan Radio tonight at 9:20pm et. E-mail your questions for Tim at host@billsfanradio.com.
  20. If Jason Peters is traded, I think Pettigrew is out of the question unless we get another or 2 1st round picks.
  21. I've heard Orakpo isn't high on their boards as he's more just a pass rushing type DE, not an all-downs DE. Orakpo isn't as strong against the rush. edit: I don't claim to have inside connections, but tomorrow night on Bills Fan Radio, we have 2 insiders well-credited and respected that do have inside connections. This is based on what they've discussed with me prepping for show. And I drive a Toyota. =)
  22. If he stays, which I hope he does, I say we stay with a defensive man our first pick. If not, then I'm scared.
  23. You're doing a good job representing my views through Kelly and Sisyphean as well.
  24. I'd trade Josh Reed before Parrish.
  25. Wasn't Roscoe out a few weeks after the season opener? Just because he only returned 1 TD doesn't mean he got every opportunity.
