Mike Pereira already tweeted today that the goalpost dunk and Lambeau Leap are "grandfathered." Which is completely stupid, of course, but is also the rule. As players, theirs is not to reason why. Theirs is to follow the GD rules.
Exactly. How many other players have flashed t-shirt messages this year?
Arguing over what is worse is pointless. The point is what is legal. Stevie doesn't care.
To argue that Stevie must have thought it was okay since he didn't get a penalty last year is asinine. The guy was the talk of the league for a week after the Burress stupidity. He had to know the officials would be watching and that it WOULD be a penalty this time.
That's not the precedent unless Belichick already told the team anyone who made fun of an opposing hc would be benched for the whole game. I'm guessing he didn't.
Chan clearly must have told him after the last time that he was out if he did it again. SJ called his bluff and we all lost because he once again put himself ahead of the team.
My 9-year-old son had no problem with the benching. I'm proud of him.
A frivolous one.
The Bills can set whatever rules they like about smoking as long as they are not discriminating against a protected class. If they said only white guys under 40 could smoke, THAT would be a lawsuit.
I guess my question is this: why was the DB the only one to recognize and adjust to the underthrow?
I see plenty of WRs come back to the ball and either make the catch or break up the INT. Seems like if Stevie doesn't get room service, he can't be bothered to go pick up the food himself.
Starting to seem like it's par for the course. Stevie didn't have any trouble making it over to Northtown for that stupid ESPN segment when it was all about him getting on TV.
