    I don't really care because that phrase is such a CYA phrase. If the guy fails, the evaluator can say "it was because he wasn't in the right system." Besides, at this stage, everyone has flaws.

    It's very possible that UB will have two players drafted (Scott and Jamey Richard) and Syracuse will have none. I don't know whether to laugh or cry about that. Also, Ed Ellis, a defensive lineman, was taken a couple of years ago out of UB.

    I think most people here were looking for that Gates/Clark type of TE -- a tall pass-catcher -- and I'm sorry to say, but that guy wasn't in this draft...and maybe the Bills think Teyo Johnson can be that guy. There was, however, a 6'5 1/2" WR, and we got him.

    Probably because the league told ESPN "stop saying 'Pick is in' two minutes before Goodell goes out to announce it." Notice now that the 'Pick is in' doesn't appear until right before the selection appears.

    Oh no doubt. But a simple "I'd like to congratulate Tony and the Colts and I hope they represent our conference well" - that too much to ask? You can even mutter "those f*cking pricks" under your breath as you walk away if you want. I wasn't asking for nice and smiley. Just a modicum of class.

    Yep...we knew that was coming. This team hasn't had a call go against them in a big game since I don't know when, and they're just shocked. I guess the check wasn't big enough this week. And yes, Simon, you had to see the postgame interview on CBS. he WAS a dick. Just like when he couldn't even LOOK at Manning after the game.
