  1. Poor NFL Network and CBS. They had 20 minutes of their 1 hour dedicated to K.C.-NE*. All that prep time and feel good stories will have to go on the shelf now. I wonder what other game of the week they could pivot to? I’m going to miss my morning of Cam this, Patrick that, The homeless dude this and the Andy that stories.
  2. Agreed. I don’t want that to be an option. I’d hate to have that happen to the Bills. Extend the season now. No television schedules matter in 2020 and 2021. Hockey just finished. The Masters is being played in November. The NBA is still playing last year. Having a longer football season would create some interesting January drama and likely ratings. Biggest threat to January football would be blizzards.
  3. The what if scenarios are getting fascinating to contemplate.
  4. Each team should bubble their own team: players and coaches: Hotel -> Practice-> Hotel When traveling Hotel -> Plane/Bus -> Hotel on game day Hotel -> Game -> Plane (if required) -> Hotel I know this is harsh, but it is the most bubbling you can do in this league.
  5. I was watching Peter King and Mike Florio this week. Peter made the point that there is just going to have to be some unfairness for some teams. Someone is going to get screwed. Not sure who is going to draw the short straw, but it’s almost inevitable someone will.
  6. Yeah this is a bad week to draw the Ravens.
  7. wow. This has to be scaring the bee-jee-bees out of EVERY NFL team. I’m now officially off the “Titans didn’t do anything wrong bandwagon”. Clearly they did.

  10. His team played like thugs last night. I haven't seen a more undisciplined defense in a long time.
  11. One other salient point about the Steelers and Titans was they have been effectively robbed of their bye weeks. In a bye week, you get the week off. Since they went most of the week not knowing, they have been in team activities preparing to play Sunday. Let's hope this doesn't happen to other teams. I'm also curious how players are supposed to get treatment. If you're rehabbing, or icing or doing whatever treatments you get throughout the week to feel better, heal or play, what happens now to the Titans? Are players on their own for getting treatments for what ails them?
  12. Because the telecast of the Thursday games belong to the NFL, that seems possible. If it belonged to Fox or CBS or ESPN, there might have been real heartburn.
  13. I was in the stands for that game. Glorious. The euphoria was off the chain.
  14. "I'm not up there". "I don't care". "But I am a little hurt" 🙂
  15. The dude/Ravens is/are 21-4 in games, including 6-1 as a rookie. That's remarkable. I watched the montage of his TD throws someone else posted here and it does show him using the whole field. In my mind, he will have a superbowl before long. He is greatly aided by a team that drafts well, attracts primo free agents, has a stout defense year-in, year out, an all-world kicker, a coach who rarely sees a fourth down play that he doesn't want to go for, a special teams unit that consistently excels and a really good secondary that can play man-to-man.
  16. my bad.. I guess I meant deluge
  17. The dearth deluge of Josh Allen love all of a sudden is crazy. Even the but-er's are more generous. He's got an arm, but, he plays reckless has changed to He's got an arm, but he has an occasional lapse... People who critique football players and fans alike know a QB should not run over Van Noy or facemask a lineman, but deep down we love it.
  18. This seems totally workable as long as Pit and Bal stay healthy. But it makes for some interesting what if scenarios league-wide and serves as a reminder that no schedule is safe at the moment. Would get more difficult too for teams that share a facility like LA and NY.
  19. Hard not to smile watching that.
  20. 3 weeks, 3 different O-line configurations. Most teams seem to pick 5 guys and unless injury or sub par performance forces a change, they stick with it for cohesiveness reasons. The Bills change O-linemen situationally, or so it seems. This bucks the trend. I'm curious what folks think about this strategy.
  21. I think I heard on GMFB that Carr does a lot of short yardage and check down plays and that was exactly what NE took away in the game.
  22. Shocking. Who could’ve seen this coming?
