I’ve been musing about the Denver-Patriots game being moved to next weekend and the Denver-Miami game being moved into the future. The second and third order perturbations to the NFL schedule are hard to predict now. My guess is every team is likely to have games and order of games moved around now. The league got “lucky” with the Tennessee-Baltimore-Pittsburgh fix. Everything gets significantly more complicated now with the shifting of three teams Denver-Miami-New England schedules. And that’s before the Tennessee-Buffalo-Kansas City gets figured out. I think the NFL game scheduler algorithm has been broken.
It’s mind boggling. Especially because of the TNF game is looming too.
Maybe the issue was the Broncos need to travel today. Bills still have one more day before they need to get on a plane.
Could you imagine, just for a moment, if Steelers could find a way to get Trevor Lawrence? The AFC North would have Burrows, Jackson, Mayfield and Lawrence.
As it stands now, in a few years the Steelers are likely to have the worst QB in that division.
Game day wish list:
Bengals over Ravens
Broncos over Patriots
Colts v Browns — Toss up — Let there be blood
Raiders over Chiefs Eagles over Steelers
rest of the games — Amuse us.
So what's the secondary look like without White and Wallace?
Norman and Neal with Johnson and Lewis as backup? Dane Jackson called up from Practice Squad? Looking seriously thin and inexperienced here.
Agreed. The game is getting unrecognizable. I wish Kelly, Marino, Montana and a Young could play with today’s rules. Tom Brady may be the GOAT, but if he was subjected to the pounding Kelly took, he would not be playing in all those Superbowls and into his 40s.
