Bills' Organized Team Activities: May 26-29

I'm pretty high on Karlos. I like what I've seen of his tape, so it's good to hear he has some positive signs at the next level. -

I'm not sure how that's glorious. Still, I'll take average to mediocre QB play at this point. -

I know I'm overanalyzing it, but man, Tyrod's accuracy issues have not been over stated. -

I agree with a lot of people that I'm happy to see this. I love Graham. He was the most consistently good CB last year. But his skill sets (great ball skills, great at reading the QB and his anticipation ) coupled with his biggest weakness (his speed) make him a natural fit there. I don't see any problems with having a DB Corp deep enough that our starting safeties can cycle to CB without missing a beat. -

He's admitted that he wasn't in the best shape at the start of last year. Here's hoping that being forced to ride the pine means that he's ready to live up to his potential this year. The nice thing about Roman and our Tackle situation is that he can absolutely put 3 tackles on the field at once. (Balco sets) -

How does it effect people who retweet what actual reporters say? -
Greg Roman presser: addresses QB rumors
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know it's way too early to make a call, but when I hear snippets from press conferences, they seem to keep stressing that TT is in the thick of it. Most national writers have been spinning it was EJ vs Cassel, but I have a sneaking feeling that I can't explain telling that Tyrod is going to take it. Maybe it's just me reading too much into it, but that's the vibe I get. -
Greg Roman presser: addresses QB rumors

The fact that they're unsure if he's joking is probably looked at some formations he drew up. I seem to recall 7 OL, 1 TE formations popping up. -
Greg Roman presser: addresses QB rumors
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, but that was during a draft, where they were able to immediately spin that into a player. This would be waiting a whole season to potentially cash in on a mid to late round pick, while eating dead cap. -
Greg Roman presser: addresses QB rumors

But...but...ESPN printed an article based on the comments of a local news outlet sports guy that were discussing conjecture by a newspaper writer! Who is the "Greg Roman", and who are his sources? -
To be fair, it started as comments by Carucci. THEN it got picked up my Joe B, who ran with it. From that, Trolldak, who is too lazy to do his own reporting unless it's doing terrible interviews with Shady, added to the fuel by pretty much retweeting what Joe B wrote. After that it was off to the races. I like Joe B, but Jesus, EJ must have stolen his girlfriend at some point.

Thanks CB! Any highlights for those stuck at work who can't listen? -

I find it kind of funny how the anti-EJ posters are the ones who agree most with the Dolphins. Tannehill had an extraordinarily up and down season his rookie year, and he wasn't all that much better his second. But mysteriously, after playing for a few seasons he gets better and is worth shelling out the big bucks for? Tannehill is the best sales pitch ever for giving EJ a legit shot to win this training camp. -
Pats** CB situation is confusing

FWIW, OurLads had him starting. Hey, I'll take a Pats** secondary that can't defend the boundary, especially with Sammy and Harvin. -

I'm still surprised. I thought they were incredibly thin before the draft, so I never expected them to release 2 CBs afterwards -
In all fairness, speaking as someone who his bachelors in Biochem, a biochemist should understand Ideal Gas theory. You do get into partial pressures as air composition changes, and as temperatures drop, but the simulated tests from an outside lab would be the most reliable. My only guess is that there is just a massive overabundance of hot air in the Patriots locker room. ... Wait guys! I figured it out! XD

I don't think they're going to be as bad as they've being made out to be. Granted, they're not All Pro, which I would like, but there are some factors for me. -Scheme matters. Wood and Glenn, two established solid veterans, regressed. Kromer's system looks like a much better fit. -Coaching. Last year's three OL picks were highly touted. Cyrus was considered a steal in the 2nd, and Cyril a promising project. Henderson was always seen as an immense physical talent who couldn't get his head on straight, but who did. None of these guys saw their performance develop. One is normal, two is a fluke, three is likely bad coaching. -New additions. Incognito, while not a nice person, was a pro bowl player his last full year, and graded out better than that the year of the scandal. Miller looks to be plug and play. -play design. Have you seen some of the things Roman has cooked up? Putting 8 lineman on the field in an unbalanced line is something Hackett wouldn't have dreamt of, never mind tried.

I know...Goddell should ask a law firm, and independent one to review the evidence, conduct interviews and check the scientific merit of arguments. That way, not even the Patriots can complain. ...wait...whoops.
