Who needs reasoning when you have a "hot take"?

We were coming off two playoff seasons (Granted; wild cards as the Pats and even Jets were starting to emerge in the division). You could tell we were in for a dip by seasons end. I think they played Flutie the last game and of course he was great (something that he really hadn't been in these later years). I was 24, with tons of Bills success not far in the rearview mirror. We'd be fine. With that said... I never would have expected the 3-13 the next season however, and then the drought. To me it felt like it was just a retool and we'd be back to the Bills. 2001 is when I knew just how far we had fallen.

That also shows 1 and 4 on Saturday. Sure they mean 4 and 8. That narrows a potential Bills game down to 4pm sat, 1 or 4 on Sunday or the Monday night game

Joust covered myself for a porential night game. Booked hotels (that i can cancel) for each sat, sun and monday night. Got em now before the game time is announced and rates get jacked up

Ill never forget the opening to that playoff telecast, at that point still undefeated at Rich in the post season Musberger opens with the line "welcome to the winter slaughter house" 22 year old me could have run through brick at that point, i was amped.

Yeah, Bruce was out that Pittsburgh playoff game. We got down big early but got it back down to one score before we ran out of steam.

That was a fun year, 1995. Especially after the four year SB run had ended with a 6-10 season the year before *Edit. I looked it up, we went 7-9 in 1994. The Miami playoff game from That season was a fun one too

I grew up in the ADKs. It was odd. Channel 7 was cbs out of syracuse sometimes, even though it was technically a "watertown station". Both 5 and 7 were CBS.....Maybe that played into it? They took the 1pm Saturday game out of the fold this season and replaced it with a Monday night playoff game

What's the best scenario for you? I've been sitting on home playoff tickets for a couple weeks. I absolutley dread that Monday night playoff game. It would interfere with work just as Im taking on a new role. Id have to leave work early and drive back to Roch that night with a 7am meeting the next day. Give me 1pm on sunday or 4pm on saturday!

Hoping that Detroit game is another Thankgiving game. I love Bills Thanksgiving games.

Pretty solid chance we play the Pats. We'll see. Really would not look forward to a post playoff game late night drive back to Rochester and and early work day following (would not be able to get out of work that Tuesday as i have a trainee coming in. ) The dought version of me is already getting angry that I am even thinking about that. Rolled the dice last week and bought a single to the first home playoff game (Will not be doing the normal tailgate thing that day. I want no distractions and just to take it all in) Glad I did as they are quickly running out on ticketmaster and the secondary market prices are ballooning. So stoked. Just two wins from my first home playoff game (Lived in the Adirondacks during the 90's run. And I was a kid, so...) I REALLY hope we don't get slated for the Monday night playoff game, but I would deal with it if I have to. If you are on the fence scoop your tickets up ASAP folks. GO BILLS!!
