  1. Hackett runs more inside zone than any OC I've ever seen.
  2. He's playing bad enough for the Bills to lose every game though!
  3. Cool self righteous take. The irony is that you continue the "slang fest" by proclaiming both posters are wrong. No one is saying passing yardage is all that matters but a below average passing game does. EJ's second half numbers and 4th qtr+/-7 are horrendous which means that once teams get a look at him and adjust their game plan, EJ's production plummets and the Bills become one dimensional. In the second half of games this year, EJ's Comp% goes down almost 10 points to 53%, QBR drops 20 full points to 69%. His comp % while trailing or leading by 7 in the 4th is 43% with a 31 QBR. His RZ #'s aren't so great either with a 42% comp%. So again, while a ton of passing yardage doesn't necessarily equate to wins, an inept one is disastrous. Orton's numbers are the compete opposite in all of those categories. In fact, Orton's numbers are superior in all passing categories. Those are the money metrics Btw, the Bills are 2-1 since Orton took over so bringing up Cam Newton's losing season is meaningless and has a lot more to do with Carolina being the worst team in the NFL the year before than a rookie QBs passing yardage. .
  4. Explains why he shaved the stache. His pedo look wouldn't gone over well in a pre school photo op.
  5. I was responding to the stats that you put up to fit your agenda and was pointed out the major hole in it. Now you say screw stats? Btw, the Bills are 2-1 with Old Man Orton so I'm confused by the losing comment. You clearly are rooting for the player not the jersey.
  6. Did you sort it by yards per game? I did and Orton is ranked #6 w/ 297 per game. EJ is #29th with 210 YPG. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/passingYardsPerGame
  7. If the 16th pick in the draft turns out to be a backup they are a bust. Great backups aren't "incredible". They have great moments and games from time to time but they're a backup for a reason..
  8. Did you think starting Orton was going to lead to double digit wins?
  9. I noticed EJ was pumped as well. I've been critical of his QB play since he was drafted but there is no disputing that he's a great guy.
  10. Yep. The poster who's clearly is on the biggest crusade used to berate anyone who didn't have patience with Maybin and Troupe too.
  11. The Bills are averaging 69 Rushing YPG at 2.6 YPC since Orton took over. Both numbers are good for last place in the NFL. But it's Orton's fault the offense isn't scoring. Yawn.
  12. I disagree. It doesn't have to be vitriolic but it's impossible not to compare and contrast their play. I do believe KO's play is good enough to get us into the playoffs. What some don't seem to understand is that the running game is averaging 69 YPG at 2.6 YPC since Orton has been the QB. Both of those numbers rank dead last in the NFL right now. Is that because the of Orton? Minnesota and NE both were crushing our run game with 7 man fronts which Shouldn't happen. So if the run game is not getting it done, what's winning for us on offense? The passing game.
  13. This season. I keep hearing about the Carolina comeback but 11 games later did you see the attempted Chargers or Houston comeback? EJ had his shot and regressed. If he has upside, he'll get his shot just not while Orton is completely outplaying him. I'm glad you're not the coach becasue I would like to win. Not see what 90% of fans realize, EJ will never be a franchise QB.
  14. I don't think anything is wrong with being worried. He's as athletic as my Grandmother. What's wrong is making it seem like he's the offenses problem when he's not. The Oline, running game and coaching have been atrocious and they are the culprits. Someone said on another thread that KO has played bad enough to be 0-3. That's not concern, that's crazy talk. I don't think anybody is looking at KO as the savior or the future. But not realizing that he joined the team on August 30th and didn't get first team reps till 3 weeks ago should cut him a little more slack especially considering the vast improvement in the passing game and 2-1 record. So doubt away but consider some context before calling him a turnover machine.
  15. You might want to check EJ's stats this year. He's a 50% passer in the second half and 4th qtr with a 69 QBR and a 1:1 TD to INT ratio. His QBR is 48 when trailing by a TD with no TDs and 50% passing. Who's part of the Kool Aid flock?
  16. I'm trying to figure out how any of this effects the outcome of a game or his play since he's been the starter. Please inform.
