  1. Is this a veiled reference to OJ's recent slashing and knifing activities. Lest not forget armed robbery as well.
  2. I was born in 67. My earliest memories was watching the game that OJ exceeded 2000 yards for the season. I don't recall the specific year or even opponent. I also remember the 'electric company' and 'the Juice' slogans & the OJ commercials.
  3. It's not necessary. This Bills team is just that good... The BILLS transcend superstition!!! Its all good fun though
  4. True. I read somewhere that Evans is in the top 1 or 2 in the league with plays over 20+ yards and the top 1 or 2 in the league with average yards per play. They are hooking up well on long balls. His last touchdown last week he ran through the ball with arms extended. There was no slowing down. It is asking too much of a quarterback to connect 40 yards downfild perfect everytime. Great receivers have to adjust to the ball, beat the DB and make the play. Which Evans does reasonable well. IMO, TE's deep throws have been on target, not neccesarily the bulls eye every time, but within the target range that gives Evans a decent chance to make the play.
  5. ouch.... didn't think it was overeacting. I don't want to be a buzz kill on this hypothetical so... Yes, I would argue they would be the greatest team because they would actually own the World Champion Trophy. I guess I would rather own it once than be runner up four times in a row.
  6. True, but if you lose touch with reality along the way, you lose credibility. You got to prognosticate realistically to be taken seriously. Anyway, we have a 4-0 start. We have shown much improvement on offense and defense. ST has consistently been elite. We have shown flashes of dominance on both sides of the ball. The team has good chemistry and good core leaders in vital positions. They have shown calmness in the face of adversity and a strong will to win. Things that championship teams do. But we have been inconsistent and have benefited from a weak schedule. Our line play has been spotty. We have played teams that were decimated with injuries. We have been relatively healthy but that could change in a second. I still feel very vulnerable if we lose a linebacker or Evans or Stroud or TE. It is just pie in the sky to be talking superbowl now. Lets enjoy watching this young team grow and savour each victory as it comes. Playoffs has been the goal. Anything else is lagniappe (Cajun for a little something extra)
  7. The song is deeply engrained in my child hood memories. Killing the song would be like killing a part of me..... How is that for cheesy Lets gooo Buffaloooa
  8. I think a lot of Josh's success has to do with our man TE. They seem to have a good repor. TE has mentioned several times how smart a receiver Josh is and his ability to find open seems. On 3rd down, Josh is TE's money man.
  9. You think he would be thinking about life after Buffalo. Does that represent the image you would want to pay top dollar for to be the face of your team. I think he sort of feels like the lone wolf/outsider and sporting a complimentary image.
  10. 3-1 is OK but obviously not as balanced as 2-2. I think we should root for two NFC losses to strike the best balance. I would like to add a Marv Levy quote. That is chicken sh*t, chicken sh*t, chicken sh*t
  11. After thinking about it, i think Mr Crayonz may have stumbled upon the most creative new thinking that could change the course of football for ever. In the way of innovation, it ranks right up there with the blue mountain on the COORS
  12. Mr Crayonz, your just not making any sense. Losing to an NFC team does not garantee you will beat an AFC team. I think what your saying is if they are going to lose it would be better that they lose to an NFC team. Well duh. But wouldn't it be a better strategy to avoid the tie breaker altogether by winning. You just want as few L's in the loss column as possible period!!
  13. Thats kinda my point there wouldn't be a tie breaker. This twisted logic is playing not to lose. I woulod rather you play to win.
  14. Wouldn't a 13-3 team with 9 AFC conference wins and 4 NFC wins beat a 12-4 team with 10 AFC conference wins and 2 NFC wins. I don't get it.
  15. oops! Thought I should have checked. Thx
  16. Pretty consistent on pinning the team inside the 15 or less. Another nice field position weapon.
  17. They are complimentary. Both valuable, both key contributors. It is great to have both. Although their running styles are different it seems like they both fit within the offensive scheme. Both can catch well out of the backfield. Marshawn clearly is more shifty laterally and more powerful, I think Freddie is better in space. Freddie is more subtle and uses pauses and shoulder leans to set up his move while Marshawn is a dervish of pumping churning legs and power.
  18. Unfortunately Randy is dependent on externals to be 'happy'. He has already shown he doesn't have the maturity to be a good teammate when the going gets tough. All changing teams did was improve his externals, he was catching touch down passes, the Patsys were winning, life was good. Now they are hitting some adversity and what is on the inside will come out. Probably already is..... A selfish, me first player. He can't get over himself for the sake of the team, for the sake of a new quarterback. But hey, thats good for us Bills fans!
  19. I think thoughs nobodies were wrong. I didn't understand picking TE 2 drafts ago when they did. It is paying dividends now. DJ and company execute acording to a vision and a plan. It isn't sexy and it isn't flashy but the steady hand has had us consistently growing. Look at the Bungles, the Browns etc., they had success for a year but couldn't sustain it. The Bills are having success, built on a solid foundation, looks sustainable. They invested heavily in O-line last free agenency period and the d-line and Mitchell this free agency. I don't see an over indulgence of DB's other than through the draft for the long haul.
