Nothing like a post full of 30 and 40 year olds pining for the good old days. Of course the good old days meant an entire season with only two watchable games, the 49ers and Cowboys regular season tilt and the NFC championship game. Anybody who say otherwise simply has bad memory. I defy anyone to watch the next "classic" game on the NFL network from say 15 years ago and then come back to this post and say the football was better. The product is faster, more violent and is played by more athletic players then ever before. I agree commercials are a problem but what do you think drives the boat?

What a terrible post! It's amazing that the average NFL fails to realize how badly NFL players get pissed on in their careers. The NFL is a meat market and when you compare the average salary of an NFL player in comparison to league revenues the NFL pales in comparion to other major league sports. Not to mention the joke that is non-guaranteed contracts, only in sport with a spinless, in-bead union could that be gotten away with. Don't get me wrong the NFL CBA is great for owners and exceptionally great for fans. But don't piss and moan when agents try and get top dollar for rookies or leverage a good year with a hold out. You have to make money while you can in the NFL because tommorow you will be a discarded chunk of meat.

Outside of his meltdown at the combine you realize he's the best mauler in the draft though right? The top 10 is supposed to be cheap to get into this year, if the Bills manage to trade up 5 spots to grab the best OL in the draft for a 3rd, yeah that would be a real dissapointment.

Not really a prospect cliche but for going on three years now I hate hearing how the San Diego Chargers "have no real need" they're just drafting for depth players again this year . No real need except some heart and balls, f***ing 4th best team in the AFC forever but they have no holes my ass.

Draft a TE at 11? Why don't we just draft a punter they have about the same effect. Someone please tell me the last impact TE who took his team to playoff wins? Yet the prognosticators will ignore the 39 busts USC have sent to the NFL in the past 10 years. 3 quality linebackers from one program...Really..they all have top 20 ability. I don't think so.

It just doesn't seem like a good fit at 11. Especially if the first 10 picks include the three best LT (Monroe, Smith and Andre) and two QB's. All that does is stack the board for the Bills with excellent Defensive players. If one of Jenkins or Crabtree goes in the first 10 it sets up one of Raji, Orakpo, Curry, Everett Brown or Tyson Jackson to go to the Bills. Throw in a Josh Freeman, Knowshon or Macklin wildcard and the potential is there to get a game changing defensive player. I can't see the Bills passing on that for the 4th rated LT. The 28th pick is probably going to our chance to pick up one of the USC Lb's or the OSU linebacker or Pettigrew. The Bills then take the best guard, center or tackle on the board with their 2nd.

Yeah Brown is the homerun pick IMO, if he's gone I thin kwe switch our focus to LB and then take the highest rated DE or TE on the board in the 2nd
