Born and raised in northern california. No ties to buffalo whatsoever. Became a football fan at a young age, watching the Jim Kelly led bills. I now have season tickets to the bills (still live in CA). I fly to buffalo at least three times a year and generally hit two road games. I even went as far as buying a house in Buffalo. I've missed one game on TV or in person in the last 10 years. This team has given me heartbreaking loss after heartbreaking loss and yet I still wipe the slate every Sunday, throw on my bills jersey and root for them like we're playing for the superbowl. Call it blind alligence or just faith. Regardless of how crappy the team is, I still appreciate everything this team stands for and everything they mean to the community of buffalo. The long suffering fans will one day be vindicated.

Today was the first game since the 3-13 2001 season that I turned off a game before it concluded. Couldn't stand to watch after we went down 31-3.

After attending last night's game, I'm still in Boston, so it's taking a little longer. Hard to see the chowderheads wearing their pats jersey's two days in a row. People are strutting around like they won the damn superbowl last night. I'll be heading to Buffalo tomorrow, hopefully I'll get the lose out of my system soon. It still hurts though.

I apologize if this has already been posted or if it belongs in another section. Anyhow, I'm making the trek to Boston, from California for the game and am trying to identify a group of bills fans to have some beers with before the game. Who's going?

I hope and everyone else on this board should pray that the answer is Maybin. Do I think he will have a Javon Kearse like rookie campaign-NO. Can he make a difference- YES. I reality, I think the play maker is McLovin'. I point to the K.C. game last year. If and if we get any semblance of a pass rush I think Mclovin' turns the corner (no pun intended) in a major way. Sleepers: Reggie Corner (showed flashes of becoming a good player late last year) Youboty: He was all over the place at the beginning of last season. If he can stay healthy who knows. Biggest bust: Drayton Florence. No reason, other than his performance in Jax last season. I see this as a Will James, push the young guys insurance move.
