    Guess what I was thinking is that it couldn't hurt. If they land D'Jax, great. If not, their interest at least puts some pressure on Britt. Also hurting our chances: he's tight with Marshawn from their days together at Cal. Don't think he's going to give us a ringing approval. If we come in at the same level as other teams, I think we're at a disadvantage.

    I've been thinking about this since we had Britt in for a visit on Friday: Assuming the team DID offer him a contract, I have to assume it had some sort of expiration to avoid allowing him to shop around for an extended period of time to find a higher bidder. Anyone with knowledge of the process have any thoughts or insight?

    There are definitely a few good players that could come cheap and help with depth on this list. Hopefully we're just waiting an hour after eating before jumping back in the pool.
