  1. I can afford to drive a BMW 750Li despite having 2 kids, a house worth a LOT more than a BMW 750Li, maxing-out my 401K, a decent amount of life insurance and saving a wad for emergencies (admittedly the "wad" would be a little less with the car). Can I join the club Skoobs?
  2. Really? More of a non-issue than the car Skooby drives?
  3. That's a good point, but not what I was getting at. I meant that being able to recruit kids to play in lovely SoCal is a far cry from drafting kids and trying to sign FA's at a disadvantage in Buffalo.
  4. Yeah, I guess 4 tries wasn't enough for him. If only the Bills faced a team in the SB as pathetic as the Bears in 2005.
  5. Just say no to Pete Carroll. Buffalo isn't Southern Cal and they can't recruit players.
  6. If true, I wonder if Ralph will refuse to pay Jauron's contract, a la Wade?
  7. The Falcons made the playoffs last weekend.
  8. Holy beatdown! I think Jerruh might want to rethink his "Wade is safe" BS.
  9. He's not called "StupidNation" for no reason.
  10. Everything is going as planned...except for the Jets-Dols game.
  11. Too bad the Bills couldn't have gotten Peyton Manning. Kerry Collins didn't turn out so great for Carolina, did he?
  12. "Unequivocal starter?" NFW man.
  13. Obviously you are not getting MY point. Do you think that all the losses over the years were mostly the fault of JP? That everyone, the coaches included, played beyond reproach, only to by brought-down by JP? Yet "given the circumstances" today, Trent's performance can be excused? And my initial response wasn't directed at you: it was directed at the thread starter, Bill, who's been railing on JP for the past year and giving Trent a free pass. But the sad truth is that Trent is NOT a better QB, and has injury problems. I am not comfortable with the Bills going into next season with him as the undisputed starter. Are you? Is anyone else? Because that's what we may be seeing, since drafting someone high or signing a proven vet might "hurt his feelings."
  14. Go 49'ers (and Ravens and Dols)!
  15. Actually, he hasn't proven to be better, much less "FAR better." That's just blind worship talking.
  16. Chimps versus gimps. Six of one...
  17. Trent and the zero points scored by the offense "didn't keep the Bills from winning today?" Yet JP, despite the stupid play-call, the missed block and no one picking-up the fumble, much less tackling Ellis before he got into the endzone, was the reason the Bills lost the Jets game? I was merely pointing out the raging hypocrisy.
  18. No. But you're really a chimp, right?
  19. First off, oh, the irony! Second, why should we "blindly worship" Trent when he's no better?
  20. Dummy. He should have taken it and erased Marino's last record.
  21. It's pretty obvious. For most. Put it this way: "given the circumstances, I thought that JP played pretty well against the Jets 2 weekends ago."
  22. I hope that the Bills pick 10th, because then winning last weekend was actually a good thing.
  23. of breaking Dan Marino's record for yardage (5,084) in a season. Wow!
