  1. He could be. The problem is that he's missed almost all of training camp with a foot injury and won't be ready until the season opener, if even. But the OL was getting old and needed replacing.
  2. Can we revisit the "comped drinks/bringing your own alcohol" argument now?
  3. No, the original poster started the thread based off of what Mike Catalana said on the air. Which he then repeated later. If you have an issue with what Catalana said, take it up with him.
  4. Jauron said in the post-game PC that Hardy made a mistake. As for the pass he dropped, it wasn't a perfect pass, but you'd still like to see him catch it.
  5. You could have pre-moistened your previous toilet paper by peeing on it.
  6. He said it on air. Why it's not on their web site, I don't know.
  7. I just thought that with a name like smokey...
  8. Stopping smoking will do that as well.
  9. They got it from Mike Catalana.
  10. According to 2 posters there who heard it separately. Take it FWIW.
  11. I wasn't being complimentary. And I was saying that JP, who apparently sucks, torched them, so Rodgers doing it means nothing.
  12. According to the BB.com message board, apparently Shred and Reagan reported "something is getting rolling."
  13. The pre-season is 1/4 way over. But let me ask, do you think that Trent playing 2-3 more series (i.e. the whole 1st quarter) would constitute "significant work?" Oh and BTW, it's fuster clucks.
  14. Please let this be true.
  15. If the Bills were playing the Bungles, a team the much-maligned JP torched last year, you'd see Trent's performance being great as well. The Bungles' defense is atrocious and this is just pre-season.
  16. Yep...minus the pornstache.
  17. I was hoping that a bomb to Hardy was going to be the first play against the Redskins this past weekend. Perhaps this Thursday?
  18. JP only got 2 series last year in the 1st pre-season game. So I would say no.
  19. I've heard more than a few people say he runs the best routes of any WR on the team.
  20. True, that would have been worse.
  21. I was going to start a separate thread, but since this one is right up its alley, I'll post my thoughts here. If we're going by one half of a pre-season game... Let's start with the easy part. The ST's should once again be dominant. McKelvin gives the Bills a replacement for McGee, who can now concentrate on defense. That is, until McKelvin becomes a starter and then...well, we'll just wait until then to see who's returning kicks. I like the idea of both Parrish and McKelvin on punt returns. Onto defense. The only series I care about is the first one. That's the one Stroud played. And the Bills were without McGee, Crowell, and Whitner, which represents over 25% of the starting defense. The Redskins gained 28 yards on 6 plays, including 3 yards on 2 running plays, and ultimately had to punt. Considering this was the first pre-season game for the Bills, the 2nd for the Redskins, and how they marched through the Colts' defense in the 1st pre-season game (albeit with their defense also missing some starters), I'll take it. Now onto the offense. Overall it was a sloppy effort. There were mental mistakes and dropped passes galore. They'll need to tighten things up over the remainder of the off-season, but I saw enough good stuff out of the younger guys to lead me to believe it can happen. But I think they need Peters back and Walker back on the right side to really get something going.
