  1. That didn't look good. Walked-off with help.
  2. Brady hurt.
  3. Looking at your avatar, I could go for 2.
  4. The offense better get it in gear soon or the chants for...
  5. "Hate him back."
  6. Link please.
  7. The Bills don't need more than 4 CB's. The Seahawks only have 2 WR's. As for Johnson, with him getting so little PT in pre-season, this is no shocker. Ellis I hoped would be there. But again, with Seattle having no WR's to throw the ball to... McCargo is a disappointment. Then again, the team last year thought that Webster should start over Greer.
  8. Who is she? Never heard of her. And she's pretty, but not one of the most beautiful women ever.
  9. "I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy."
  10. No offense taken at all.
  11. I was being facetious. I said the same thing (i.e. that traveling cross-country would mess with them) and got jumped by a couple posters. The record pretty much speaks for itself, since the Hawks have been a pretty good team under Holmgren.
  12. He said "great 4-3 OLB."
  13. Why is that? They're professionals who are experts in traveling clear across the country.
  14. Even though Stroud is a year older (9 months actually) than Rogers, both have been in the NFL for 7 seasons. And both have had ankle problems and a drug suspension. Stroud has been more acclaimed, having made 3 Pro Bowls and named to 3 All-Pro teams. Rogers has made the Pro Bowl twice. And Stroud, as has been said, doesn't need to be motivated; he just is.
  15. Actually I think what has to happen for the Bills to be able to re-sign Crowell is that he cannot be signed by any of the 31 other teams. Then the Bills can re-sign him. I suppose if they do the settlement and he gets his surgery, no one will want to pick him up.
  16. Rogers played for Jauron in Detroit.
  17. I find this section from Chris Brown's article today interesting: To me, that says the Bills recommended to Crowell that he have surgery 3 weeks ago and he said no and instead tried to do non-surgical things to help his knee get better. Apparently that didn't work and he couldn't take the pain any longer so he decided to have surgery. I don't think it was malicious on either side's part, although I think the Bills were frustrated that they could have had an answer (on recovery) 3 weeks ago and been better able to plan for his absence. He might as well have the surgery now that the die has been cast. Playing on a bad knee in a new system (assuming the Bills reach an injury settlement with him) won't get him very far. And reportedly if a settlement is worked-out in the next 4 days, the Bills can re-sign him at a later (which I don't know) date. Ideally at that time he'd be healthy and he knows the system, can show his stuff, and cash-in next year.
  18. What difference does that make in this situation? If Peters were to play in game 2, it would stand to reason he would play in game 3 (ad beyond) as well.
  19. No way. The Jags are the tougher team between them and the Raiders (at home). If he's healthy and up to speed, he plays week 2 for sure.
  20. This was a loss for both sides in terms of playing the game. But in terms of the Bills preventing other players from pulling the same tactic to immediately get a new contract, it was a victory for them.
  21. Jauron doesn't do things rashly. There is obviously more to this than we know.
  22. The link should start with my post congratulating the Bills on holding their ground.
