says it is crap this year. Crap games, crap teams. Poor product this season. Says only the Colts seem to be playing good, consistant football this season.
In a way I agree. It seems every team is equally crappy (as opposed to being equally good).
What say you?
I presume it is just me, but I had no idea who Hines Ward was until 2 seasons ago... I never realized he has been around since '98 and has been pretty productive since 2001.
However, from what I have seen the past couple of years - the guy is the consummate football player.
I have no idea what it would take for a QB to be "brilliant" on a football field... it's a football game, not the Manhattan Project.
I do know that was one !@#$ing bad ass pass though...
Look at Mike Sellers. The guy can block and he has scored 6 TD's this year on about 12 catches. Between him, Cooley, Moss, Portis, Betts... there isn't a single person you can key on in the red zone.
Anyone at anytime can get the ball. I like the fact that they trust any receiver, back, or TE to catch the ball. Maybe it is in their talent evaluation, but it just makes sense. If you are a skill player in the NFL - you should be able to catch a football.
I was going to start a thread about that game... That was unbelievable. For the life of me, I can't figure out why theyu actually attempted it in the 1st place!
Yeah, i would be hard pressed to blame Lindell without knowing the wind conditions. His second one was hit dead nuts straight and it looked like God batted it out of the air.
I'm just trying to figure out how a guy who has started 4 whole games in his career can be "old" anything.
Anyhow, leave it to our group to kick a man while he's up.
