DJ: 5-10 of the 30 tryout players could be signed...

"Making the team" is slightly different than being "signed" or "brought back at least for our OTAs and maybe for training camp," which is what Jauron said.

In fact of the 30 tryout players brought in for the weekend, Jauron believes anywhere from five to 10 players could be signed.

Hello, McFly! "Tryout" players were unsigned when they went to the Bills' rookie camp. They were essentially walk-ons. Contrast that with the UDFA's who signed a contract, and the drafted rookies who will sign larger ones later-on.

if 5-10 were on the roster come septemebr, this team is f00ked

And if 5 drafted players get starting positions at season start as some occasionally mention, last year's team had to be one of the luckier ones in NFL history, to end up with 7 wins.

From all of the things I've heard coming out of try out, I would assume De'Cody Fagg, Maurice Wells, Solomon Elimimian and Gary Rogers will probably make it into Camp.

De'Cody Fagg? With a name like that, you have to be tough.

I had to Google to verify, and lo and behold, found this Former Florida State receiver De'Cody Fagg completes 'miraculous' rehab from knee injury

He had torn his ACL, and his pro prospects seemed to be similarly shredded. Initial reports suggested it was a career-ending injury. The renowned Dr. James Andrews performed surgery a few days later and told Fagg he would need a year to recover.

Sounds like a tough kid. Let's hope his recovery is like McGahee... but his character isn't.

To be brought in to camp a player must be signed to a contract, therefore 5-10 of the players will "be signed" and invited to camp. After which they will compete with the other players on the team who are signed for the 53 roster spots or the practice squad.
