You are correct!

That's kind of freaky. Still listed in the Bills' depth chart @ NFL.com:

http://www.nfl.com/teams/buffalobills/depthchart?team=BUF

He's not listed on the roster either at bb.com. Furthermore, on his wikipedia page, it says he was traded to KC midseason. I would love to have TG, but I love Freddie Jackson. I don't know that I'd give him up for Gonzalez.

I don't trust wikipedia for anything, but being off the depth chart and the roster at bb.com is troubling.... especially because I just bought a Freddie Jackson throwback jersey before week 1....

OK, fess up. Which one of you jokers changed the Wiki page?

I'd still take that trade, but would miss Freddie a whole lot.

EDIT: I don't see anything on this page:

I guess it's gone now. About 10 minutes ago there was a 2008 section, which said something to the tune of "Jackson was traded midseason to Kansas City."

Haha, No, I wouldn't waste my time with pointless jokes like that. I guess that's how you get 80-something posts in 7 years. But for my liking, I hope it was some eager 10 year old chiefs fan that posted it.

Well, j-wolf was right about the Wiki entry, here it is (as it was):

As you can see, it has been edited several times, today:

Someone has to be yanking our chain....do we really believe Freddie was involved in a Tony Gonzalez trade?

Can't really see the sense in it, unless another team is involved.

I hate to be a rumor-pooper, but schefter is saying that no stars (Tony Gonzalez) are expected to be traded:

Expect trade deadline to be quiet

Posted: October 12th, 2008 | Adam Schefter | Tags: Roy Williams, Tony Gonzalez, Trade deadline

With the NFL, the trade deadline is more dead than anything else.

Though speculation has centered around such high-profile players such as Detroit wide receiver Roy Williams and Kansas City tight end Tony Gonzalez have surfaced, no star is expected to be traded.

If any trades go down — and they rarely do — they are expected to be of the “B” list players, not the headliners. Players that have been shopped in recent days include Dolphins quarterback John Beck and Lions wide receiver Shaun McDonald. Of course, the interest in each player has been, at best, minimal.

Since the summer the Dolphins have attempted to trade Beck to no avail. At one point in the spring, the Dallas Cowboys expressed a modicum of interest and even offered a player that Bill Parcells once drafted. But the Dolphins rejected that offer.

Thread's too long for me to check every post, but in case it hasn't been said already, the Chiefs asking for only a 3rd Rounder for TG is total bullcrap, from the reports I've been reading, which all say that KC will be seeking at least a 1st AND 3rd for him.

What a team asks for and what they settle for are often two very different things. I don't think this trade will happen, but I don't think it's because KC is holding out for a 1st and a 3rd. That's a ridiculous expectation.

Did you read the entire thread, or blow it off like some Chimp?

Yep, we don't know anything of what KC really wants. Lot's of BS and hype, which equals 0.

If they want a 3rd, that would fly. 3rd and change, maybe a 7th. 3rd and 1st, get bent.
