Granted, he gave up a costly sack, but the fact was, for the most part, he was extremely solid. Groves had a great jump on the play, and I don't think any tackle in the league could have held him up. That being said, it was his first game back and they were playing in 110 degree temperatures, and Peters admitted that he wasn't quite 100 percent today. I think getting on the critical bandwagon here about Peters would be a bit premature. Buffalo has only given up three sacks in two games. That's pretty good, regardless of what happened as a result. kota Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Jason Peters was sucking wind today. He didn't experience any of the NY humidity in the summer. He goes down to Jacksonville with 95 degree weather and is winded. It was to be expected. We probably won't see Probowl Jason Peters until week 4-5 in terms of game shape.
