I find it ironic that the best QB in the mix is the one that sat the bench- Alex Van Pelt

 

Between the Rob-ots on one side and the Flutopians on the other, us Van Pudlians never had a chance to get the message out...

AVP was a great temmate, and likely a smart guy. He was definitely, however, not better than either Johnson or Flutie. I remember pre-2002 season, when the Bills were supposedly givning serious consideration (before the Bledsoe trade) to going into the season with AVP as the starter...does anyone remember how, mostly, awful he was in 2001? He was not even as good as Kelly Holcomb.
