It's ok... not super great and not bad. Way better to go during nicer weather though. Never been to the Left Bank so I can't offer any advice there. The Dock is better for drinks or happy hour or just spending a summer day having beers and burgers on the back deck. For a formal dinner, its not as good. Left Bank is... fancier(?) for lack of better words. if you are looking to take her to a more sophisticated, hip, downtown restaurant than stick to Left Bank. The food is far better at Left Bank, but may be a little more pricey. On a summer night the Dock has a better atmosphere, where Left Bank is smaller and pretty loud.
