yes i say go Pats!

Recommended Posts

I hear ya on that one.

While it's painful to watch the Pats win while the Bills have been a laughingstock over the last 8 years, it is refreshing to see a team that just plays smart and physical week in and week out. 3 titles later, they never get coplacent -- they have a revolving door at various key positions, sign wide receivers and safeties from the street, start rookie free agents in key playoff matchups and still manage to do what it takes to win.

That Troy Brown forced fumble is a perfect illustration of what the Pats are and what the Bills have not been.

So yeah, I hope they punch Mr. Downs Syndrome Peyton Manning in the mouth and beat the Colts this week.

Something i will never understand about the "classical" Bills fan is that hatred toward the Pats.

Maybe it's because i like Boston and New England in general, have enjoyed all my visits there, but well i actually like the Pats.

They have substance, they have great coaching, they are hard working, they play in real football weather, they have classy players and tough fans. I'll never understand why a Bills fan 'd prefer to root for a sun belt or dome playing fan-less team like the Colts, Chargers or Jaguars than root for the Patriots.

That is why I just hope they'll crush the overhyped overrated Colts circus next week end.

And well i'll wait for the Superbowl to root vs them, as my 2 favorite teams in the NFC meet for the title in the other game Sunday. (and i'm not jumping on any bandwagon, i've rooted long enough for some Kramer or Orton leaded Bears teams and "Please give Delhomme the job" Saints teams to have earned the right to cheer for those suddenly fashionable franchises)

Do you know me?!!

so please don't include me in those fair weather fans i hate !!

I've waited for decades for the Red sox to win till 2004, i'm still waiting for the Sabres and Bills... i'm a Celtics fan that has never seen anything good from this team (i've started following the NBA in 1989...) ... "My" rugby team has not won a title since 1954 and "my " soccer team since 1980.

So yes i can enjoy without shame the best NFC year i could dream off, the best Saints team in history and the best Bears team i've ever followed (as i 've started following the NFL in 1988).

And franckly the Dawgg arguments look a lot better than the ones i read from those "Bills fans" that are spitting their Pats hatred while all they dream of is a team that 'd play like them....

i personaly respect the patriots, but i don't support them, and i want them to loose against the Colts.

for 2 reasons :

- patriots have won enough SB

- the colts must win a sb before the bills come in the top in a few years and don't cut them.

What is this bull sh-- with you people of having second favorite teams and sh-- like that. My god you pussies, the Bills go impotent for a couple years and you d-bags are talking about second favorite teams and blowing other quarterbacks.

Down right disgusting.

You can not compare the world of european soccer with the NFL. The day soccer will have a salary cap, we'll see.

And think what you want but the "they buy the refs" anti-Pats argument is nonsense.

And Boond, if you find "disgusting "people having "seconde favorite teams" i wonder how you react to real problems in life, like i don't know any SERIOUS matter. We are talking football here, you know A GAME!! The same for Beerball comparing the Pats with Hitler!!

He guys i'm the "euro" here but you are the ones sounding like euro soccer hooligans.

Hey I checked your bank account, Saddam made a last minute deposit before his execution, you can pick it up at your convenience.

The Pats owner is part of a group which is basically trying to run the Bills out of business so he can get one more dollar. He is a fat load blowhard. He complains to refs that Rodney Harrison is the VICTIM of dirty plays.

I think I'll root for the Colts.

Look Frenchy, there is only one team you root for, its the Bills Or whoever else, but you cant have favorites in the NFC and be a die hard Bills fan. You sound like my girlfriend who likes certain teams because of the colors of there uniforms. Your either a Bill or nothing. I hate every team equally, just alot more for the fins and patsies. GO BILLS!!!!!

HELLS NO!

<_<

I am practically a lifelong Connecticut resident and I cannot name 5 Pats fans prior to 2001. I find their coach to be a peckerwood and dammit and I will take bitterness' table for one in the corner. I hope Indy can get-r done this year so Payton and Dundy finally get some hardware for themselves.

meet me then. I have been a Pats fan since 1978, the days of Jim Plunckett at QB.

Living in Toronto, and attending games in Buffalo, I became a Bills fan also.

It's tough when tne Bills plat the Pats becuase I have divided loyalties. But bow that the Bills are out of it, I also say Go PATS.

look on the bright side, they represent the AFC and in particular the AFC East.

You're funny! It's SOOOO easy to be a "die hard bills fan" when you live in WNY! Try to be a Bills fan in France, now that's "die hard". I've not seen a live Bills game since 1995, before around 1996-97 and internet, i had to drive 25 miles to pick up the USA today international version in a specialised book store each TUESDAY to have the result of the Sunday Bills game... and for other information than the box score i had "Sport Illustrated"... well with the mail it took only about 3 weeks to have the week's issue! Or i could try to hear a game (not the Bills game 95% of the times!) on the US Army's radio from Germany on my old short waves radio, the good nights i could have good reception for about half an hour!! So please i consider i have no "you're not a serious Bills fan " lesson to receive from anybody here!!

Ha ha ha! you mean its his last paiement for the fake little toy missiles i sold him that the US Intelligence took for WMD?!!! <_<<_<

So wait, your saying it is some kind of game or something funny that American troops are dying in Iraq?

God damn, you insult the Bills and make a comment about how funny it is that American troops are dying in Iraq, what is next? Stand up comdey about Pearl Harbor and 9-11?

And that means nothing to me

Why should I care that a team from the AFC or the AFC East wins the SB if it is not Buffalo?

I am a Bills fan, and only a Bills fan. I can watch other teams, and can pick one I think is going to win, but I am not going to jump on another teams bandwagon and route for one just so I can celebrate their victories and feel better about myself cause I now picked a winner. Especially not one of the teams bitter rivals (considering the rivalry between the fins and the Bills has declined and the Pats seem to be the new rival)

How many of you will support and accept the fansof the Patriots that will come here when the Bills finally start winning and they want to show their support for their "second favorite team" or a divisonal team?

Most of them will be told to take a hike and that we don't need more bandwagon fans
