MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 14, 2006 Author Share Posted March 14, 2006 I'm not a qb aficionado, but I felt Phillip Rivers would turn out to be the best qb from that draft, It's a risky thing to do letting Brees go, but I gotta think they weren't all that confident about Brees returning to form. This will hurt the bills cause with less QB's taken between 1-7 there are going to be alot of other position players taken early. Trading down is starting to sound like a bad deal. I don't know a lot about the Saint's OL (and they had a mobile qb IIRC), but SD's did well protecting Brees.
