My guess would be they wiretapped David Palmer. He was at a point of access with the Oval Office. Other options are that somehow the kid who got himself into Chloe's bed found out. Since he is now a producer, he'll be around as long as the show is on most likely. Just when it seems like the show is over a car will come flying in and he will be grabbed. It will set up next season but we will spend half a year waiting to see what happens. Like you, this is the only show on TV, besides sports, that I am hooked on. Also, like someone else said, I too hate the President on this show, I wanted Jack to punch him in the face after Walt Cummins got hauled away.
