somnus00 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago However things work out with the standings, I'm hoping the Texans and Broncos defenses beat each other up before the Bills play either one. 1 Quote

I will take the Bills playing at home in the playoffs 24-7-365. I don't care who the opponent is. I was thinking the exact same thing on my commute into work this morning. If the division is up for grabs you take it…it’s a no brainer. I’ll take the crowd noise at home against any QB in the AFC vs being on the road. 1 Quote
Virgil Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If things ended now, it would be a pretty solid setup. Bills at Jags (not great, but I’d take it) Texans at Pats (Texans win) Chargers at Steelers (who cares) 2nd round Texans at Broncos (Texans win) Bills at Chargers/Steelers AFC Championship Bills host Texans. The Chargers' remaining schedule is at Cowboys Texans at Broncos Have to think they lose at least one of these games. Gregg, buddy, respectfully I refuse the words "likely" and "probably" right now. I want the Division. It is still possible and I want it. When they can't win, which I deem to only be conclusive on the final Sunday, then I will think about WC seating. We get 1 season at a time. 17 games. 18 weeks over the whole year. I refuse to give up our mantel...our title until they pry it from our cold dead hands. ...or unless numbers wise it isn't possible anymore. Go Bills! 1 Quote

And if we're going to be the wild-card, obviously you take the 5 seed. I can't stress this enough. If the Bills win even ONE playoff road game this season, it'll be our first time doing that since Jan 1993, lol. We're not going to all of a sudden win 3 playoff road games. We need at least one game at home, and we need to get that 5 seed. After that, hopefully a fellow wild-card like the Chargers or Texans are able to win two road games to set up an AFCCG game in Buffalo (or possibly a Divisional game in Buffalo if all three wild-cards win in the wild-card round). This ^ --- no doubt. I think the last scenario that you outlined, is very possible (all 3 wild-card teams win). I've said it before, I just want to avoid playing at Denver or at Houston, on wild-card weekend --- I like our chances in any other matchup. Quote
