Why don't they clear the snow from the field during timeouts and at halftime?

It is an old wives tale that weather like that benefits the defense...  Tom Brady has said plenty of times playing in the snow really helps the offense 

 

They know where they're going.. they know the snap count.. the defenses playing catch up and are much more likely to slip because they don't know which way they're cutting 

 

Today again showed this weather really helps offense
