The Pentagon, facing questions about its legal basis for attacking civilian vessels, sent no lawyers to the meeting — a move multiple lawmakers in the room considered inexplicable. The Defense Department officials who did attend, those people said, were unable to explain the mission’s strategy and scope — even as President Donald Trump openly mused about expanding the campaign to include land targets inside Venezuela.

What is really going on here?

Nonsense about contacting reps?

Are you a British subject or a US citizen who has the right to petition their government?

Just because you are submissive to the whims of the state, doesn't mean that others are...

As for random links, how do you know there isn't malicious malware imbedded?

That's right you don't...

As for the boats...

What laws were broken?

Statutes?

Are you that brain dead and lazy that you can't use your own words?

You post a link?

You can't simply copy paste the specific laws that were allegedly broken?

As for the Geneva Convention, what authority do they have over the UCMJ?

Which authority is higher?

I'm going to revisit this subject here in January and have a big laugh revisiting the stupidity of you and many others...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year until I get back from my vacation next month...

Maybe you need some FoxyNewsss

“It gives me no pleasure to say what I’m about to say, because I worked with Pete Hegseth for seven or eight years at Fox News,” Napolitano said on Tuesday. “This is an act of a war crime, ordering survivors who the law requires be rescued instead to be murdered, there’s absolutely no legal basis for it.”

The Geneva convention does not apply to drug runners, but I have a very serious question for you, why do you fight to ensure every evil criminal has full protections from their actions but the innocent people they kill you don't care about?

Quote today from the dear leader “This is war”.

“Adm. Bradley made the correct decision to ultimately sink the boat and eliminate the threat. He sunk the boat, sunk the boat and eliminated the threat,” Hegseth said Tuesday at the White House. “And it was the right call. We have his back.”

The amount of effort to defend the narco terrorists by some people here is astounding to me. The fact that not one of you had any issues when Obama was killing terrorists over in the Middle East while having collateral damage but this is where you draw the line tells me that your TDS is out of control.

I'm defending the constitution and the rule of law.  It wasn't that long ago that these were republican slogans.  As for Obama, the legal questions are similar.  I guess less were appalled because it involved known military terrorist groups in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia.  I think most people felt they were a true threat to the country.

President Trump pardoned the narco kingpin. That's defending narco people, right?

Less were appalled because the media didnt cover, one tenth to the degree they are covering this, Obama drone bombing the Middle East into oblivion.

Maybe if Trump bombs a wedding flotilla off the coast of Venezuela, you can pretend it’s no big deal.
