zow2 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago In my opinion, the Bills struggle mightily containing the best player(s) or unit that everyone knows will kill us on game day. I know it's hard to be a coordinator, but the Bills seem to get gashed to pieces by the one or two players that you know a week in advance will change the game. Can the coordinators start earning their money?!? Baltimore: Slow down Lamar passing/running and limit Henry running downhill.. (Lamar 70 yds rushing, 11.0 Y/A and Henry 18 for 169, 2 TD). Thank you Allen for getting the W. Dolphins: Contain Achane (5.2 avg rush), thank you Bernard for saving it late. Saints: They can't pass, just contain the run (189 yds rush, 5.6 avg) Patriots: Just don't let Diggs go off ( Diggs 10 for 146 yds) Falcons: They have two guys, Bijan and Drake London. Contain them. (Bijan 19 for 170, 1 TD,,, Drake London 10 for 158, 1 TD) Dolphins: They have two guys, Achane and Waddle. Contain them. (Achane 22 for 174, 2 TDs,,, Waddle 5 for 84, 1 TD) Bucs: No Bucky Irving, Bucs can't run, contain them so they are one dimensional (202 yds rush, 5.2 avg). Thank you Superman Allen Texans: Hyped up defensive unit. Have a plan. (Bills sacked 8 times for 70 yds, multiple negative plays, 3 turnovers no takeaways) What's gonna be for the Steelers: TJ Watt, (2 sacks, 1 strip scoop & score?, DK Metcalf 8 for 120, 2 TDs?) 1 Quote
vtnatefootball11 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Very much agree with this, however, the thing is, every team has trouble stopping these guys. If it was easy to stop them they wouldn't be premier players! The real problem is, we don't have any of these players our self and our GM/Coach are almost adverse to this type of player. Almost every contender has a few... we have zero outside of Josh (maybe cook but without an outside threat he's not going to beat a team by himself). Quote
CSBill Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago Disagree. All four losses can be attributed to losing the Turnover battle--not just the number of them, but the circumstance of them: in the Red Zone, while backed up inside your own 20, etc. I've said it before, for all the other convoluted things that have happened (as you outline above, the incredible amount of injuries this season, no production from the WRs, etc.), but don't commit those costly turnovers, and there are 2 or 3 more wins on the record this season. Buffalo716 Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago I think DK Metcalf will have less than 65 yards Quote
