T master Posted Saturday at 05:23 PM Posted Saturday at 05:23 PM You know when we were all young running around playing Basketball, Baseball, Hide and seek, Kick the can, (now I'm showing my age) we never really paid attention to the things our dads were B**CHING about when it came to gov't, Taxes and anything else that he or they as adults were talking about because it made no sense to any of us, but now that we are our parents certain things come into focus much more than they ever use to . I am in my mid 60's now and I am trying to stay healthier as to enjoy time with my family and my grandkids so I have been paying more attention to my diet . Those commercials that promise that a pill will fix your aliments but make things worse in reality and make prices of health care go ballistic while doing so is in part some of the things I wanted to talk about . It amazes me that there are people in places that know beyond a shadow of a doubt that certain things that can be produced for human consumption will be and will knowingly cause disease yet they are still allowed to be produced anyway all in the name of Greed . Then we sit and are asked to donate to find a cure for cancer, diabetes, dementia, obesity & many other things when the science departments of these companies that are in cahoots with the FDA, EPA, and many other pieces of our own gov't know that if this stuff will be ingested & it WILL cause a debilitating disease ! Oh and then when it is proven to cause these diseases the only thing that is levied against the company is a law suit and they put out a huge dollar amount thinking that the money makes every thing better as long as they can continue to produce the product that is in fact killing people but that's okay ? Please tell me if I'm wrong about this but, IF you do something knowingly that will cause harm & or death isn't that in some ways murder or at the very least manslaughter ? If you take a action against someone that you know will hurt them if this act is taken then those people should be and rightfully so should be held liable and if a death becomes of it jail time should be brought into the discussion . Round up which is a version of Agent Orange and has been proven to cause (beyond a shadow of a doubt) None Hodgkins Lymphoma which can and has been the cause of many deaths in the US, which I have personally had a life long family friend die directly from the use of Round up yet the company that made Agent Orange & now make Round are still allowed to produce it because oof the massive amounts of profit due to laziness and will continue to for generations because it is now in the aquifer . Monsanto or as I call it MonSatan the originator of Agent Orange & now the product Round up which has been sold to Bayer continue to sell this product for immense profits because of pure American laziness & despite all of those deaths that were directly from the use of this product it still is being produced . Then the fact that this product has been banned in several European countries because they too know that it is poison has no influence what so ever on America . Then to think all of this is nothing but a huge hamster wheel ! All of these companies are allowed by either the FDA, EPA, or because of some loop hole in the laws to continue to produce all of these bad disease causing things that make us sick, which makes us go to the doctor, then they prescribe us a pill (by big Pharma) that masks the symptoms but doesn't fix the problem & then that medication has numerous side effects only to make us go back to the doctor again for yet another med to stop the side effects of the first med to get yet another round of disease or side effects that needs more meds . Talk about a money maker !!! It blows my mind that Americans are that lazy to use things such as round up when you can use 20 Mule team Borax to do the same thing in killing weeds, or that you can use cast iron to cook in and not get cancer, birth defects, and other things from Teflon a Dupont discovery in the 60's . That once again Dupont knew that it caused major health problems and admitted so much on court after these diseases came about from those making teflon in the factory . Then before it's production NO ONE on earth had the chemical C8 in their system yet now the entire planet has it in their blood & for that Dupont was only charged to pay $16 million for all that disease even after they admitted in court that they knew it would cause harm . AMAZING !! So if you continually add fuel to what ever fire that is burning (which is a metaphor) how can you ever put that fire out ?? Greed is the entire motivation for keeping the fire blazing ? I just pray that some people with common sense (which is hard to find in todays world) realize exactly what, how, & why America is the sickest country on the face of the planet & it's because of self induced stupidity when it comes to convenience or flat out laziness . This is just a mind dump and I don't expect much if any reaction to this post because more than a few here are more enthralled with things that really matter in the grand scheme of life like how many women Trump has cheated on or if Biden can remember what day it is & Hunters sexual escapades rather than the things that are keeping us all sick and making life a literal PITA to live each day but thanks for indulging me if you even read this . I hope that in some ways there are some here that will read even a small portion of this and do a bit of research to find out a little bit of just how we are all being Guinea pigs for profit . Do some research and have a better life ! Glory to God !!! I am on NO MEDS to this point in my life and I in some way hope that it is because I have done a little bit of research and tried to pay attention & hope to pass some of this on to others to what we put in our body that can keep us a bit healthier longer . Thanks for your time !!! Just to add something I had wanted to put in here but got off on a tangent as you can tell, the entire "Global Warming" thing . They always blame it on that automobile and it's exhaust but they Never include in the equation the other man made piece . By man cutting down tree's by the millions of acres and taking away entire ecosystems such as swamps that were made to take gases from the atmosphere that these things also help increase the earths own ability to cut back on such terrible things as Co2 but that once again wouldn't fit into the narrative . So it's the political cherry picking to fit what ever their personal agenda is to spend massive amounts of money on that drives these things and again I would believe that they are vested in those companies that will help to save the world like wind mills, EV's and such .

Really well. And it doesn't remain active in the soil, so if you use it correctly (to kill off an invasive weed) it is far less harmful than many competing herbicides. The ordinary homeowner who uses glyphosate probably bears almost zero risk, again, if used properly. Commercial farms may be a different story because they are using huge amounts on an annual basis. But again: tradeoffs. Glyphosate allows farmers to use conservation tillage and to greatly reduced soil erosion, which over the long term threatens American farmers more than any Argentina ever will. So Bayer changed the formulation of consumer (not farmer) Roundup to a different chemical. I noticed that after I bought it this year and it didn't work very well. Thankfully I noticed before I used it around my vegetable garden; the replacement chemical DOES remain active in the soil for weeks. And it works less well so people will likely use more of it. I don't think that's progress. Me? I use 30% vinegar whenever I can. Cheap and Immediate weed killer and makes my yard smell like cheap vinaigrette dressing, which I kind of like. Roundup for the invasive stuff caused by my idiot neighbor not killing her goat head thorn weed, which punctures my bike tires. The other point I'm trying to make is that even assuming that glyphosate is toxic, that toxicity is limited to those applying it, those inhaling it downwind, etc. There is no study showing that plants grown in soil previously treated with glyphosate show such toxicity. Did the American farmer jump into glyphosate overuse without sufficient study or oversight? Absolutely. And the marketing by Monsanto was aggressive and treated it as basically risk-free - I think they invented the term "conservation tillage" which means "kill the weeds with Roundup instead of deep tilling the soil before planting." I lived in the upper Midwest back in the day and those commercials aimed at farmers were a daily thing. 1

Before I started the vineyard, I completed a class in viticulture, (grape growing), and spent an entire day on herbicides. I would never put myself, my family or our dog in jeopardy for any reason. I read the entire gov stuff on glyphosate, available at the time. I also understand and have looked at the European view on it. I don't drink it. I don't touch it. I add it to my sprayer and use it. I have a very good bug population, and I don't have cancer yet, nor do the good number of other people that I know of who use it, carefully. To each his own.
