Beane has a lot of issues, but $30M in dead money is average for a team in the NFL today.

They cant cut or trade Milano or Jones because next year is a void year.  They will be paying them to sit at home or play somewhere else.   They owe them what they owe them regardless.   Knox, Taron, Samuel, Rapp will all be cut or traded.   Another one to watch for is Oliver.  Trading or cutting him will save the team 15 million.   Those 5 moves will get them near 50 million in space. 

 

Lets wait and see what the Patriots look like when they play a 1st place schedule.  I wouldnt throw next year away just yet. 

I've been thinking about that lately, and the funniest part that I just realized today, is that we may VERY likely play the Chiefs yet again next season because it's very likely both teams end up in 2nd.

 

I guess that's alright though since in the regular season they apparently give us less issues than the Jets, Patriots.... or Dolphins now? *shrug*

They have to play them anyways.   Its an AFC West year.   The good news is the Pats will have to as well.
