This staff doesn’t take every game seriously

Are you saying they don’t do that? I think they do.  I’m not even against it, it’s a long season.

They always rotate, but not like in these “easy win” games.  Seriously, how many first quarter snaps did L.Jackson or Solomon get v Chiefs? Or Ravens?  Wouldn’t a rotation bring AJE in?  
 

it’s no injuries either because it’s happened in other games

Today, against Atlanta, and against Carolina, I noticed that on the second defensive series, they will have our 2nd and 3rd string DL guys in. TO START OFF THE DRIVE!  They are not filling in. This is planned.  Landon Jackson got hurt when he was in with Solomon.  In what world would Landon Jackson and Solomon be on the field at the same time!?!?

 

the staff clearly believes they will easily beat these teams, and want the backups to get reps.  
 

this is a clear indication that the staff doesn’t treat every game as seriously as the next, and I think that’s trickling down to the players.  

Completely agree. You have a team that just did a yard sale and lost their best defensive player because of it and fired their general manager. These players are not guaranteed to even be on that roster next year so of course they’re gonna be motivated to go out there and put on a show against one of the best teams in the league. You have to have your team ready for that *****.

Don't think the players aren't picking up on this and assuming the game will be a cakewalk.

This regime has always been so conservative with injuries on guys that can go but let’s give it another week, yet still can’t stay healthy. We have had as many practice injuries then in game. Defense drop like flies, Kincaid is only pass catcher worth a damn and only gets about 1/3 of snaps yet still goes down every game with injury

For some players, particularly veteran guys, load management makes sense.  But it seems to me that the Bills are trying to load manage the entire team for the entire season.  This is a novel concept that is done in baseball & basketball but I've never seen it tried in football before.  Only time will tell if it was the right or wrong thing to do.  So far, it's a mixed result leaning towards it being the wrong thing to have done.
